Sitting on the terass with the ocean waves tumbling in and watching the dolphines play is absolutly awesome. Seanotes is an outstanding place to be at, clean fresh and nice. Robyn, the hostess, does everything in her power to make you feel like home. Despite that I would like to have it as my personal secret heaven, I have to... More

Stayed at Seanotes for 4 days while visiting South Africa. We were put in the Oyster Room, which consists of 1 large bedroom, plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space; bathroom & shower was spacious. Bath towels were supplied as well as tea, coffee, sugar and a bottle of wine. Robyn is a very friendly lady, she has 10 dogs who are just... More

This idyllic guest house is one I really look forward getting to on my many tours with guests through South Africa. Robyn (and the dogs) are the most perfect hosts and the units are "like home"...everything you need, and a little extra! Home baked rusks are always put out for us. The view from the rooms is awesome...you sit on... More

Spent another idyllic weekend at Sea Notes last weekend. Robyn and her offspring could not be more welcoming. Few places are as good for the soul as this. Thanks once again. Oyster Is so well kitted out and we had everything that we needed and more.

This is the most wonderful find in the Eastern cape. The view, the dolphins the rock pools and not forgetting the dogs, they made our holiday so special, I could just go on and on. Swimming in the rock pools with Mia and Sachmo, 2 of Robyn's dogs is an experience on its own. So special. Our room "The Oyster... More

My family of 3 stayed in the Seaweed cottage last week, and we loved every minute of our stay! The location is ideal for a quiet getaway. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess Robyn and made to feel at home right away. We took away a seafood platter from Barnacles local restaurant a short walk up the road (freshest... More

I almost didn't want to write a review and keep this little gem all to myself. But I was so impressed with the place that I just have to. The management is helpful, the staff are friendly, the view (from the Seaweeds cottage in particular) is to die for. This is the priciest option, but with that view and all... More

We stumbled upon Sea Notes after being recommended it by Barnacle Restaurant down the road. What a find. Only the Pebbles apartment was available but it was self contained, spotless and nicely presented. Coffee and tea maker along with a little kitchenette. But it's not the room that makes this B&B special. It's Robyn the host. She is a delightful... More
