We have been to this establishment for a picnic and thoroughly enjoyed the day. We decided to return for a family birthday celebration and the self catering appealed to us. When we booked we wanted three one bed chalets, two for three nights and one for two nights. Unfortuntely this could not be accommodated and we had to take a one...

I arrived at Thunzi with no pre-existing concept of the place. What a wonderful surprise. A jewel in the Eastern Cape right outside my doorstep ( I stay in PE). The perfect way to chill and regain your mojo. My partner and myself came with all the additional crockery and cutlery as we are used to these items always being...

My GF & I spent a few days here. Lovely experience. Staff is friendly, beautiful scenery. Sitting on the deck listening to nothing but the trees & the birds & the wind. Very peaceful & relaxing...definitely a must if you want to break away from the busy city

Superb lodge, with all the amenities to make it special as a self catering unit. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed an easy hike on the baboon trail along the hill. Tried fishing but dam too choked with weed to be successful. All in all though, a lovely experience.

Thank you for your review, it is always great hearing that our guests enjoyed their stay with us. We are constantly clearing our dams of weeds, as we don't use herbicides or anything that can be harmful to the fauna and flora it is a time consuming job. A hint for future guests...the bass do like to hide in the...

Last year May 2015 I bought a getaway to Thunzi through Bargain Buys. So we had to stay one night in one Lodge and moved on to another Lodge...
