We stayed at this backpackers for 2nights and had an entire dorm to ourselves which was great. Clean rooms and kitchen which has good facilities- plus the showers are huge! Gorgeous little cafe just underneath and a gorgeous walk along the coast past the marina to Cape St Francis (the lighthouse). Not a huge amount to do except walk and...

Great Central accommodation in a surfers paradise. The service from the new owners Kyle and Alastair Legg was superb. There is so much to do in Cape St Francis and they will go out of their way to hook you up. We stayed in a family room which had its own ablutions, as do all the dorms - great touch....

St Francis Bay is a beautiful location with great local eating places. Raggies International Backpackers is undervalued by the title 'Backpackers' because the rooms are immaculately clean with great showering facilities. The relatively new owners are enthusiastic, very welcoming, and very helpful in providing local guidance. I will definitely seek out the opportunity to go there again next time I'm...

This place is under new management so its was in the process of refurb when I got there but even so this didn't cause any problems. The place is clean, spacious, very friendly staff and very well equipped. Every room has storage space and a very suitable bathroom, and the communal room has a sofas, tv, pool table and kitchen...

Good value for money and well situated if you wish to enjoy the night life. Not suitable if you are looking for an early nights sleep (bit noisy). Perfect walking distance from all the necessary shops and Restaurants. Overall though it was a pleasant stay.

I stayed in Raggies last month and had a very enjoyable stay. The hostel is in a great location upstairs from a coffee shop and craft brewery. I stayed in one of the dorms which was clean and the en suite shower was excellent. The new owners were very friendly and organised surf lessons and stand up paddle boarding for...

I staid in a dorm room with en-suite bathroom and found the room clean and spacious. I was the only one in the dorm room (end of January), but she told me the previous week it was packed (school holidays). The WiFi is spotty unless you are nearer the main office area. They have an outdoor picnic area as well...

Raggies is not really a backpackers as such, rather more like a B&B without the Breakfast...there is a recreation room at the disposal of guests and the room we had had a lot of space and en suite shower room. The bed was comfortable and the location is central and convenient. Close by there are many good eateries for breakfast...

The beds are comfortable there is plenty of cupboard space! However the one toilet between 6 of us became a challenge especially in the mornings! We arrived late and so there was no one to show is around, therefore I cannot comment on the communal areas as we did not find any! No WiFi

Hi Guys, really sorry that you arrived late and left very early in the morning, we would have loved to have shown you around. For future convenience the WIFI code will be pinned up in the rooms. Happy travels.

Stayed here while on route to port Elizabeth and found the place super friendly. Right near gorgeous beaches and excellent restaurants The room was simply amazing with a private bathroom. Sharon, the co owner was one of the most helpful hosts we ever had. We highly recommend this wonderful place. Good value while on Cape St Francis. In general a...
