We stayed at Camelia to attend a wedding. I made the booking well in advance for the semi luxury room. When we got there we were shown to a room that wasn't on the pic on the website as the room we booked. The reception we received from the host was also very cold after he saw that we were...

Thank you for taking the time to review our guest house and for the fact that you found the room "lovely". We appreciate it. The following facts are perhaps relevant: First and foremost we would like to emphasize that we have no preferences at all regarding any aspect of our guests' lives. Great stop over place. Owners were very welcoming. Has aircon, dstv, fridge, etc. everything we needed. Only problem is that the aircon above the bed dripped in the middle of the night on my wife's head and she went ballistic... although this sounds really funny now, when stopping over after a long drive you want to rest. We didn't exactly...

Thank you for your review. The air conditioning referred to was installed a year ago (January 2016) and was serviced two months ago (November 2016). Had we known about this unexpected and unforeseen problem, we would gladly have moved the guests to another room or refunded them. Our sincere apologies. We will definitely contact the air conditioning service provider in...

The owners were very welcoming and very friendly. Made sure we had everything we needed, and that we knew were everything was. Parking is secure, inside the premises. The room was spotless and very comfortable, came with a TV and A/C. Easily accessible and very close to the N1, although not close enough that I noticed road noise. Close to...

I visit Bloemfontein regularly on business and like to have peace and quiet after hours. Oom Jan and Tannie Sarie are beautiful down to earth people and the accommodation is of a very high standard. Every time I stay there it's the same great experience.
