beautiful scenery, a beautiful place overlooking the mountains and valleys of the south of Johannesburg, would ask the restaurant to up their game on breakfast cuisine as we were not totally satisfied with the food.

We visited Thaba Eco Hotel a few years ago, and it already was a great place. The improvements since then has been noticeable. The gardens and surroundings have been planted with indigenous plants in keeping with the surroundings and is magnificent. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous with both local and international food. The head chef treated us with his own...

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a one night stay at Thaba Eco. The only problem we had was that the aircon in the room did not work and we wasted 2 hours trying to resolve the problem. After numerous calls and promises from reception, we eventually had to walk to reception to request an alternative room....

It truly shows how one staff member's attitude impacts the stay. We had requested items that would make us more comfortable and were given attitude because of that. We were not added to the guest list at the restaurant but in the end we have been accommodated. A big thank you to all the staff members who made our stay...

Attended a conference there. The hotel is a few kilometres out of Johannesburg South but feels like you are in the bush. Relatively easy to find. Ample parking on the property. Arrived to check in but was told tjat the rooms were not yet available. Waited for 10 minutes until they swopped us to another room. The rooms were relatively...

Relaxing and scenic. Deluxe room is huge and has all the special touches and comforts that one would expect. Room 201 is situated opposite the spa. If you sit on the verandah it doesn't allow for much privacy. Dinner and breakfast at the Kraal Restaurant was lovely. Check in and check out was efficient. Thanks to Marie and Kiara.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. We had an overnight in Johannesburg about 25 minutes from the airport. The suite we got was larger than most one bedrooms in NYC. The hotel is situated in the midst of a nature preserve and there are nice walks. The restaurant served very good food, but service was very slow. However, be...
