Huge Room with fantastic big en comfortable bed. Very clean and safe. I would however suggest a chair on the stoep. Close to Ticketpro Dome and Northgate Mall I enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again.

I stayed for 6 nights and only got wi-fi working a third of my stay. Restaurant waiter is PLAIN RUDE asking me to greet him before I could order anything. I did greet him previously and he never replied, which could be that he hadn't heard me, but REQUIRING a guest to greet a waiter?? NO! I work in a...

SDG has the basics. The room was clean, the bed comfortable--with a firm mattress--and the hot water supply generous. The lack of wifi in the room is offset by a small kitchen. Other reviews comment on the slow service in the dining room. I did have this problem at dinner, when they were relatively busy. Breakfast took 20 minutes or...

Although this venue initially impresses with its distinct style and boutique-hotel looks, I soon noticed some basics that were not attended to. Air-conditioning is a must in Johannesburg, and a little panel heater on the wall is not enough to beat chilly Highveld mornings. Certainly an extra blanket should be in the room at all times. And it may seem...

Hotel was excellent. The room was just too cold. The heater didn't work well. That affected our sleep. Every other service was excellent. I would use the hotel again but will insist that the heater must be in great condition during winter.

I asked for an early breakfast at 6:30am and they accommodated it for me no problem, ,the breakfast was ready when I got there. The staff went out of their way to help me during my stay. Great budget hotel.

This hotel had efficient check in & check out. It is located in a remote part of Johannesburg near Northgate Mall & the Dome & will take you min 30 min with no traffic to most of the popular parts of the city. The rooms have a double or 2 single beds, were neat & clean with decent bedding but...

Ther rooms are tidy. The bathroom showers can be cleaned better especially the mould in the shower corners. The towels were torn on one occasion. The breakfast service is slow. It was quite and peaceful to stay.

Only stayed one night. Room was nice and clean, all the basic needs were met. Had a little kitchen which will work great when staying for a longer period of time. Room was only prepared for one guest, even though we booked for two. Great breakfast!

This is a great little hotel, in lovely grounds, with a terrific gym. The restaurant serves delicious breakfasts. It's a little bit remote, but very charming and a superb value and in a secure compound. I'd recommend it.
