Great for nice hikes which include rock pools and nature. Also a great destination for friends or family camping trips andwith braais with a lovely pool and deck overlooking the landscape. Although at night time music isn't tolerated its definitely the spot for a quite and relaxing time.

Camping, chalets, and rustic huts. Beautiful unspoiled paradise that awaits. If you love hiking and swimming in rock pools and rivers then this is the place for you. Lights out by 9pm and they don't tolerate people disturbing the peace. No loud music and trouble makers. Great pool area for the family and you can braai there for the day...

This is a self-catering site with a variety of options for accommodation. If you love wild open spaces, hiking up steep terrain and views to die for, this is the place for you. Once you get on the upper hills, there are spectacular views. The rock formations are really very very special. Just go and enjoy.

We booked a cosy cabin last week and found it to be a wonderful, budget friendly alternative to camping. The common ablutions were clean. There was ample hot water and the bed was comfortable too. We enjoyed the lovely views and walks and the park is one of my favourite day trip destinations anyway. What did disturb us is that...

My wife and I have been going to Mountain Sanctuary Park once or twice a year for over 8 years now, and we are never disappointed in camping sites, the ablution are always clean and the natural beauty of the park is stunning. This is a gem of a place. Stayed overnight with our camper van. There is no loud music allowed which gives you more time to listen to the sounds of the wildlife. The monkeys can be a bit of a nuisance as one got into the camper and stole a packet of SIMBA chips, so keep things closed. The hiking...

I enquired about a booking, and the proximity and detail of a hiking trail I thought was nearby the sanctuary, only to be told that it is like asking an 'Asba' I think he meant ABSA consultant to explain a Standard Bank Investment to me, (which I'm pretty sure they would be able to do because they would have knowledge...

Love this place. Cabins, camping, accommodation for everyone. The walks are beautiful, the pool is kiddie friendly with a big shallow end and a café to buy ice cream and drinks. Quiet and limited in number of people so always pleasant. Very nice ablution facilities for campers.

I would like to say that the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, pleasant, kind, accommodating, considerate, thoughtful and caring. That's what we honestly experienced. Thank you Izak(Manager). Much appreciated. The camping sites were very clean. Spacious camping sites with lots of shade. Mountain Sanctuary Park just 2 hours from Johannesburg. Not far at all. We came specially from Umhlanga Rocks...

Facilities: The best part of this trip for me was the proximity to central Johannesburg (approx. 2 hours). We stayed in the cozy cabins which were pristine and well stocked with dishes. The rooms sleep four people comfortably and are very well priced. We were near to the bathrooms, which were also kept extremely clean. While there was no sink...
