What a friendly young man who greeted us and showed us to our rooms :) The room had everything a person could want - clean, soft bed, soft towels, plenty of hot water and best of all a little bottle of complimentary sherry to have as a nightcap And the breakfast - cooked to order What a perfect stay Thanks...

Had a two day stop here for the T20 cricket. Location is perfect for that with the ground a few minutes stroll away. Hotel is comfortable and clean with secure, private parking. Very nice pool. My review is possibly tarnished a little as the general level of service, whilst very pleasant staff members, seemed a bit below par on several...

Dear Barry Thank you for reviewing us. On your day of departure one of our kitchen staff was absent due to illness, paired with a young less experienced colleague on duty in the kitchen. With a full house it can get quite tough if most of the guests show up for breakfast at the same time, handling check outs and...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We left a phone in the room when we left and they phoned us within half an hour on so we could still go back. Location was very good for us as we attended the cricket test and could walk to the grounds.

Very clean and friendly, a great atmosphere to relax in the garden, staff go above and beyond what is expected, the room was very homey and welcoming. Overall a great stay. It was Just a little noisy as the BnB is situated next to a main road.

Stayed here as family of 4 just before Christmas visiting relatives in Newlands. Spacious well-appointed adjoining rooms (4 and 5) at the top of the house with nice extras like home cooked biscuits, lovely toiletries, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and safes and fridges. Serviced every day. Scrumptious breakfasts in dining room that opens onto the pool and garden. Charming but unobtrusive...

We stayed in the Cottage attached to the main house - it's our 2nd stay and again we enjoyed it. Breakfast is delightful - we'll stay again :-) Lovely enclosed sunny garden with pool and secured parking.

I just stayed for 1 night and arrived very late (little after 10 pm). Where other guest houses don't really like to welcome you that late, they welcomed me with great hospitality and tips where I could still grab a bite. Their internet was the best of all guest houses in the are. Very fast and I could watch TV...
