We are repeat visitors to this hotel. It is pleasing to note that throughout the years of staying at this hotel, the standards have remained constant. Most impressive is the staff who work at the hotel. We arrived early and asked for an early check in; the hotel staff could not have been more helpful making sure that our room...

We have had several very pleasant stays at The Vineyard however this last one was well below par. Although the hotel is very conveniently situated for access to local schools, Cavendish Square, Newlands and a host of good restaurants, the rooms seem to be in a certain amount of disrepair........ after complaining about the state of the first room allocated...

Dear Craig Thank you for your feedback. While we are thrilled that you chose to stay with us for a fourth time, we are disappointed to hear that your stay was not what was expected. We are in the process of upgrading 41 of our rooms and we are sure this difference will be discernible, should you choose to stay...

We stayed there two nights. The service was excellent, the room was to a very high standard with the most beautiful view of Table Mountain, and the food could not be faulted. The gardens are also very well kept with some awesome tortoises hanging around. A bit far from city center, but in my opinion well worth the extra 15...

My wife won a night for two at the Vineyard Hotel. The prize included a night with a 5 course wine pairing dinner and buffet breakfast. From the moment of our arrival, the treated us like VIP's. Taking our luggage and parking our vehicle. The room was clean and spacious. We had a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and a...

Dear Nico Congratulations on your wife’s win! We are so glad we were able to make your stay a memorable one, and that you found our food particularly noteworthy. We hope this won’t be the last time we welcome you to the hotel – perhaps you could join us for a guided garden walk or Afternoon Tea? Keep your eye...

This was the first hotel during our South Africa trip. We felt home immediately. We had lunch in the covered courtyard. The waiters are very friendly. A stroll through the beautiful garden, with spectacular on the Table mountain, is highly recommended. Like aperitif on the cozy terrace and dinner in the courtyard.

As per the other reviews, this is a very good hotel. The rooms are good, the food is good. What I particularly like is the quality of the artwork that has been curated and collected. It is outstanding and reflects the personality of the collector(s). The gardens are also very well maintained. Staying here on business but time spent in...

Of all the hotels I have stayed in for business in Cape Town, this is probably the best. Unfortunately it is not ideally suited for business in the Northern Suburbs, but I regularly suffer the traffic just to stay here. The rooms have recently been redone and is of very high standard

The Vineyard is a wonderful hotel with fantastic views of the mountain. The rooms were great, comfortable beds and pillows. Staff were friendly and efficient. As an aside, I particularly liked the giant tortoises that wander around the property! Will be back when I holiday with my family at some point.
