The Brooklyn Lodge is a great hotel with a wonderful owner and Zoe's kitchen! Warm and kind staff with a feeling of home away from home. I very much enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to others traveling to Pretoria.

We arrived late in the evening and Maria and Angelo helped get us dinner at 9pm from a local restaurant as theirs had closed at 8. The rooms are great and the staff is very friendly. Free hot breakfast included in your stay. Lunch and dinner is available and very reasonably priced.

Staying at the Brooklyn Lodge is like you're visiting a friend or extended family. The owners treat you like long- lost friends visiting their home. The breakfast is ample, varied, and tasty. The rooms are all very different, so if you have an issue ask about switching to another option. The location is convenient also.

The owner Maria makes you feel at home. This cozy lodge with about 18 rooms is a wonderful place to stay whether you are staying in Pretoria for business or passing through on your way to Kruger NP or beyond. I have stayed at Brooklyn Lodge each of the last 5 years. Maria and her staff will take excellent care...

This lodge is so comfortable and homey. Maria is absolutely the sweetest and incredibly accommodating!! I always look forward to my visits here. The rooms are lovely and those bathtubs are to die for. The afternoon tea and cakes are just the icing on top of an incredible stay. The lodge is very conveniently located near the Brooklyn mall and...

Maria is a fabulous hostess - totally charming and helpful - and one of the primary reasons to stay here. She was especially helpful in introducing me to her other guests who were involved with similar work or had similar interests. Nice for someone traveling alone. The rooms are large and well-appointed and the better of the two rooms I...

This is a great place that makes you feel right at home. Maria, the proprietor, is amazing and goes out of her way to make sure all guests are having the best experience. The staff are friendly and always ready to help if needed. I spent a few weeks here, and I think I've spoiled myself from the chain hotel...

It is a cliché, but it was really how it felt during the 4 nights I stayed in the Brooklyn Lodge on a business trip to Pretoria. Very spacious and clean accomodation with an enormous and well-equiped bathroom. Very friendly and helpful manageress and staff. Good breakfast. Free Wifi - almost indispensable nowadays. Pick-up from - and drop-off at -...

This is a small, well-managed property that is well suited to business travelers. My room was large and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was stunningly renovated and included a deep, free-standing bathtub that I enjoyed my first night. The split unit AC was a bit underpowered, given the size of the room, so that it took until 3:00 or 4:00 am...
