The hotel is disappointing on all fronts. My experience left the impression that I overpaid for low caliber management and staff. My experience began at the the drop-off zone which is a mess, with stationary vehicles everywhere. I parked my car myself in the hotel's parking bay. Going back to the hotel, the lift was not working (4 floors) ....

What an amazing finish to three glorious weeks in South Africa!! Four blissful days in the Michelangelo with Archie, the Executive Head Concierge, who helped us fill every one of our days with places to go and was always smiling. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and they did everything possible to make our stay perfect. The hotels...

Great location, especially if you've got business at the Sandton Convention Centre. Rooms are more than adequate, but the staff is excellent, and one of the primary reasons to consider this property. Plenty of great restaurants - a wide variety of cuisines are nearby in the attached mall, from McDonald's to very upscale Portuguese and Indian; and everything between. Breakfast...

This was my second stay at the Michelangelo, the architecture and design is reminiscent of neo classical Rome. I must say getting there from the airport is pretty easy as it is just round the corner from the Gautrain station, an option I took given that on my previous trip I found the hotel organized transfers way too exorbitant (ZAR...

Best hotel I've ever stayed in, stunning rooms and courtyard view. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is the best and central to everything, including the Gautrain. The breakfast was delicious, truly a 5 star.

This was my second time at this hotel. If you want the center of the mall, if you want luxury, pampering, great food and the decor....this is the place. Fully stocked bar (wasted on me as I don't drink); the luxurious bath robes; the towels, bedding - wonderful. When they say luxury, they mean just that. Had a spa day...

From the unique doorman, great service, the luxurious room, super bar, terrific dining room, the hotel was fabulous. The location overlooks Nelson Mandela Square right outside our window.
