We recently used place, We received a great service by friendly staff yet very professional . We liked the unique style of deco in the rooms especially the overhead shower. The Location was central to most places we wanted to see. We liked the restaurant the most. It's just not easy to find due to streets that compact but still...

Even if dont liked Durban, this hotel with the freedom cafe were absolutely worth the stay. The hotel has its own flair, very stylish and the staff is absolutely an asset. The location is nice because you can reach all important points in several minutes by car. The breakfast in the freedom cafe was amazing!

These rooms are so beautifully crafted and carefully furnished with incredible attention to detail. They are a great size and very comfortable. The food is excellent, best breakfast I've had in a long time with amazing homemade juices and delicious fresh coffee. A real retreat from the city yet a short walk from the African Arts Centre, Golden Mile and...

Nice style, staff very cool and good beds. Rooms with balcony are very nice. Breakfast sometimes unusual but good ! Definitly a good place to go in Durban in a good street with a lot of restaurants in there

Durban seemed to me like a tough old town but The Concierge was a stunning retreat. Lovely rooms and close to some nice dining options (breakfasts at the hotel were also very good). Exceedingly well run and the staff are top notch

Pictures looked lovely, but the hotel was disappointing. Standard room was ok, a bit dark and small. The area around the toilet in the bathroom smelled really bad. It was very noisy; I could literally hear the light switches being turned on and off by the person in the room next door. Somehow I kept smelling cigarette smoke in the...

My boyfriend and I have stayed here multiple times over the last 12 months and are never disappointed! We actually love the rooms that face the parking lot as they are quieter and bigger; they even have a bath (as opposed to rooms with verandahs which people are usually initially drawn to). The best parts of staying here are: big...

What a lovely oasis of a hotel in a very convenient area. Staff are super friendly. Rooms very comfortable and clean if a bit dark. Freedom Cafe offers the most incredible breakfast. Would definitely be back.

Yes its quite quirky and modern but I am now unsure as to how it gets such a high TA rating- can only assume there is little competition in the city. The room was ok if quite dark with a small patio- it did need some maintenance. We had breakfast there which was tasty although finding anyone to take order/serve...
