The Guest House is charming. Lovely decor. Staff was amazing and made our stay even more special. To the Chef thank you for going all out to meet our requirements for breakfast. We will definitely visit again and again. A very special thanks to our guest "MAX".

Thank you very much for your review. Max has left home to be with Elliot at the Lodge. He fancies himself as the "concierge" All that remains of my watchdog is his mattress and food bowls. In clear view of would be burglars. . When he comes to visit during week we let him run up and down cul+-de sac...

We went there for our first night of honeymoon Naphtal was great, breakfast was amazing! Unfortunately no effort was made to make it feel special, no champagne, roses, chocolates etc As a regular stay would recommend it any day

Unfortunately this started off as a request for a Daddy's Deal booking which does not include our honeymoon suite. Sad to say I made a concession which did not cover OUR cost. I think that under the circumstances Armand should have arranged to have flowers, chocolates and champagne in the room at his own cost!! When guests pay the full...

After torrential rains stopped we suddenly had an invasion of big flying cockroaches from one side of house. Only one bedroom on ground floor was affected and the matter was resolved in 2 days!! First time this ever happened at Lembali Lodge but also first time we experienced such flooding rains. Neighbours blitzed with same problem. Sorry! Our "house"was NEVER...

My husband and I spent one night at Lembali Lodge as an anniversary treat. We had an enjoyable stay. Lovely staff. Clean and comfortable room with a lovely view. Unfortunately, we couldn't make use of the very inviting pool as it was raining. Maybe next time!

Stayed here when visiting Durban for the International AIDS conference. A group of us took over the lodge for a week. It was simply a perfect base. Special mention of the staff. Aggie for keeping the place spotless, Elliot for tirelessly shuttling us to and from the conference at all hours and Naphthal whose hosting and cooking was simply awesome....

Very poor breakfast selection based on the high rate daily. Parking a huge problem with guests not parking correctly and one side of Thatch very low so bumped the Renault Panel van on the cross beam. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We are so small, only 6 rooms, that we do not offer a breakfast BUFFET. But our individually made breakfasts include anything from a variety of omelets, fritters, eggs from poached to hardboiled ( Anything!!) and delicious full English breakfast. Eggs Benedict with parma ham and Eggs Florentine probably being the breakfast highlights. Home stewed cinnamon oranges on offer this...

To the Team of Lembali Lodge, Thank you so much for leaving footprints in my heart and a tickle in my soul! I was truly fulfilled with my stay here at Lembali Lodge. The service from the staff was good and they were always very friendly. The meals were good and variety of choices were offered. I thought my room was very small though. The location was great although parking can be a problem.

This was Durban July weekend and by the time Ernest booked all rooms were taken except smallest standard room. We were at pains to explain this.Sorry Ernest, 5 best rooms were long gone! We hope to host you in a deluxe room in the future.

Was at the Lembali Lodge during the Comrads marathon. The staff, Aggie, Elliot and Naphtal were fantastic. The owner Helina made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were large and airy. Loved it here. Would definitely go back. Breakfasts were amazing!!
