The Balmoral Guest House is like home from home. I stayed at the Balmoral for 2 months and it was great. The owners and staff are very friendly, accommodating and nothing is too much of an effort. It is located within 5 minutes safe walking distance of Kensington Road and within 10 minutes safe walking distance of Mackeurtan Avenue so...

Privately owned guest house with 9 rooms, situated close to the north of Durban just past the Umgeni River. An excellent place for business. Rooms are tasteful, with great bathrooms in an open plan to the room. A peaceful central courtyard resembles a small Zen garden. Breakfasts are taken alfresco on the patio. Fairly standard fare for breakfast, but it's...

Ok! So if you are looking for a guest house in Durban North, you cannot stay anywhere else. I say this because I have tried them all! The location is ideal, between Umhlanga and Durban central. One of my absolute musts when when traveling is cleanliness, and this facility is kept spotless, inside and out. The rooms are spacious and...

The guest house itself is immaculate, with beautiful finishes and crisp, clean linen and towels and the owners, Kate and Allen are nice, friendly people. We had a spacious...

A wonderfully appointed B&B with access to downtown, beaches and restaurants. Lovely breakfast and the kids loved the fact that there are numerous power outlets for all their tech gadets and ability to charge whilst travelling from abroad. Excellent service from Janet and her team. Thanks for another wonderful stay! Will be back and would recommend to anyone........

Private, quite and in a great position for business. Walk to Broadway Restraunts if you need to, I found this lodge to be clean and professional and the decor is simple and tasteful. Better than staying in a large hotel or in a domestic b and b, more pivacy and more peaceful. This place is new and fresh and recomended...

What a brilliant spot in the heart of Durban North - close to the main restaurant strip - but off a quiet street so you are assured of a peaceful nights sleep. The room was massive and spotless - the place looks brand new. It is worthy of 5 stars. Brilliant breakfast patio. Highly recommended.
