We just love Ubizane's self-catering accommodation: for us it provides everything we need outside Hluhluwe game reserve. It provides clean and international standard accommodation. Being from England now living in SA we would recommend Ubizane to international visitors looking for the safari experience. It's main attraction for us are the zebra, buck and occasional giraffe passing by the windows at...

A mixed review this time. There are two lodges here, The Tree Lodge where all the facilities are and the Safari Lodge which has lovely rooms but is a longlong way from the facilities and fro the start of the game drives. With my walking difficulties I was fortunate that our Ranger, Alan, was happy to collect us. He was...

So, I have been here many times but I think the last was in May 2016, I miss this place so much! they have 2 different lodges, I always booked the one with high up balconies, we went back because the staff were so good, and I found something really magical about the place, we liked the food every time,...

My parents and I were booked into a next door cottage at the self catering Zulu land safari lodge but there were no braai facilities for us, the other cottages had braai facilities and we had to braai in the communal area so when booking please request a self catering cottage with a close braai facility. The aircon in our...

We stayed at the safari lodge and had a wonderful stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the time we arrived until we left. They made an effort to ensure there was vegetarian food for some of us. Rooms were clean and neat and the Boma area was perfect for our big group. Will definitely be back again.

Great lodge in close proximity to the Ezimvulo Game reserve. Staff super friendly and owner is a character. Rooms and clean and lodge is well maintained. Crocs around the dinner setting is very different experience.

What a lovely setting with great rooms, friendly staff and excellent Sipho with whom we had a wonderful game drive. Excellent viewings when we saw 4 of the big 5 on one early drive and then back to a scrumptious breakfast. Welcome rain has made the reserve Well worth a visit.

We stayed in the tree lodge. Beautiful! lodge facing the woods where you could see the antilopes and hear the birds. Large and soft bed, lovely furnishing and everything very clean. Excellent breakfast and excellent dinner. it was just perfect.

We do not get the positive reviews. Everything is overpriced (2 times too expensive in comparison to other stays). All staff members are unfriendly. They have wildlife but everything is a management road and you are not allowed to drive on these roads. Why not? We have no clue.... The cottage is also too expensive in comparison to other places....
