Thank you for a very comfortable two nights in beautiful gardens with huge trees. We enjoyed the visits of red duiker and the abundance of birds. As tree enthusiasts it was wonderful that our host could give us a tour of the grounds and teach us the trees. Drought has taken its toll on the garden but we know how...

As before we always enjoy staying at The Sand Forest Lodge , although only for over night accommodation, we find everything as requested and staff and management helpful and efficient, we would have no problem recommending S F Lodge to anyone requiring accommodation in the area.

The owners are very nice, they gave us a lot of tips and helped us with our staying. The room is clean even if a little bit old, but it has its style old fashion! All the workers very nice. It is quite a good position as it allows you to visit the Imfulozi park and saint lucia

Beautiful spot for bird lovers. Beds very comfortable and amenities top notch. Bush babies visiting at night were an added bonus. Understandably, due to the drought, the pool area was not functional, but could imagine it being a wonderful relaxing spot. Hosts, Cary and Godfrey are great people.

What a great place to stay. As birders we could not ask for more. Your place is brilliant with all the facilities and unfortunate we did not have enough time to explore the Sand Forest Walk. Will make sure to book an extra day or 2 on our next trip.

There are only 4 camping pitches so it will never be crowded. Each pitch is in it's own secluded bay with plenty of space and looking out over forest meadow land. The facilities are clean and tidy and the owners kind and helpful. If you are looking for a good place to put your tent, away from the hustle and...
