We have been holidaying at the Marlin for many years and are treated like one of the family there. The best holiday hotel in South Africa. The hotel has good food and is close to restaurants in town. The little town is quiet and perfect to get away and relax.

Stayed here for a week in February and had a wonderful holiday. Everyone is so friendly and helpful as always. Manager Malthee gets a special mention for making our stay so perfect. Hotel has made some changes and is lookin good. Renovations are ongoing and it's obvious that the intention is to continue improving. I don't normally like buffets but...

The Blue Marlin at Scottburgh was the first destination of a two destination Saga package. We stayed here for 2 weeks in February 2017, on an all-inclusive basis. The hotel sits on a slope and has great views of the sea and beach. Access to the beach is a short walk through a security gate and down a pathway, across...

If looking to hear the ocean in your sleep, then this is the hotel for you. I loved the sound of the ocean which was a stone throw away. The activities and functions at the hotel were welcoming. The kids play area just perfect. The food and room service was tip top. Everything about it met my expectations. The only...

Once again we had a fantastic holiday at the BM. Everything just keeps getting better. There must be very few places in the world where you get such a friendly welcome by ALL the staff. Everyone from the management down to the room maids cannot be more attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views. You...

This hotel has both sophistication and the appeal of a comfortable, friendly stay. Just a short walk on the private path takes you right to the infamous Scottburgh Beach. There is also restaurants nearby as well as the town's shopping hub.

This hotel is really good Excellent meals Lovely Staff. However only choose this hotel if you want Beach or Hotel Stay. There is no public Transport i.e Buses Scottburgh Rail Station is outside the hotel but you are advised not to use it for fear of Muggings also it is very slow and apparently often brakes down. I visited here a year ago as I enjoy the spacious rooms overlooking the lawn with palm trees and pool, and the beach and ocean beyond, the ample wardrobe space, the excellent shower in its roomy shower stall.
