Required a one night stay. Staff at reception very accomodating and excellent service given. The stay for the family was enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable. Amenities clean. Great location in wilderness as N2 easily accessible.

I appreciated the fact that the hotel is very old, but old does not mean dirty and dilapidated. Pool was green, room smelled of mold, carpets were not vacuumed and bathroom smelled disgusting. Could not wait to get out of there. What you see on the net and what you get are total opposites. We were most disappointed

Our family stayed at the Fairy Knowe in early January. We found the location to be excellent with the beautiful Touws River right on our doorstep. In addition it was ideally situated situated beside EdenAdventures which was great for arranging activities. Breakfasts were very good and rooms were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here at the Fairy Knowe -...

Great location and beautiful river to swim in. Check in was very frustrating and unprofessional. Balcony overlooking the river was very dirty but an awesome view! Breakfast was very good with friendly staff

This place is like a diamond in the rough. It is so beautiful and situated right on the Touwsrivier with excellent access to it, but it is really dated and a lot of things in desperate need of repair. On a positive note, it is clean, the breakfast were nice and the staff are friendly.

Our check-in and check-out went smoothly. As always, we loved our experience at the FKH, however the bungalows need to be upgraded, (e.g. broken chair, room very dark). The staff are always friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - between the river and ocean ! The amenities are great. The best part is that you feel like you're part...

This hotel has so much potential. It is on the river, has great water activities, a pool and a tennis court. The facilities are perfect for a lovely family holiday. The following could be improved on substantially *very run down facilities all around *pricing of a family rondavel facing the parking lot the same as one facing the river *...

Apart from the swimming pool being green and therefore unusable all the facilities on offer were available. The entertainment room needs some improvement, but otherwise the hotel feels 'homey', the restaurant is very reasonably priced and the food delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. We booked online and on arriving found we could have used 2 rooms instead...

Very nice little hotel in the best location in the most beautiful little town in Africa. Enjoyed canoeing in the lagoon, nature walks, restaurants in Wilderness and walking around in the shops in the town. Everybody is so friendly and the whole town is very clean. The staff at the hotel is very very friendly and we will definitely return...

As a relatively large family the one thing we all look forward to is our yearly holiday to the Fairy Knowe Hotel. It is a hotel steeped rich in history and happens to be the location of my parents honeymoon some 60 years ago. It is a hotel that provides you with a genuine family orientated experience. Amenities are aplenty...
