Our two families came to Ekuthuleni for a weekend away. The stay has been very relaxing and the accommodation lovely and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely and looks out over a private reserve. I would recommend it for a fee day's stay or a stop over on the eay to the Kruger...

Stayed over for a couple of days very relaxing, quiet tranquil. Visited Kruger Park from Ekuthuleni entering at Orpen and exit at Phalaborwa. Enjoyed the Hippo and Crocodiles in the river from the veranda. Although website states free Wi-fi, you have to buy a voucher to get Wi-Fi

Hi Travellers4x4. Thank you for the lovely 4/5 rating. We are delighted to read that you had a relaxing and tranquil stay. We are uncertain to which website you referred in your review, as the official Ekuthuleni-hoedspruit website, under the “Resort Facilities” tab, notes the following: “Wi-Fi connection - Voucher based Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the resort.” We hope...

We stayed at this campsite for one night as a stopover between the Blyde River canyon and Kruger Park. The site is well signposted from the road and is a ten minute drive to the campsite itself. Check in was efficient and friendly and we had the pick of several pitches most of which are close to the Olifants river...

We stayed a week with every intention of popping into the Kruger National Park but we never bothered to go. The amount of animals we saw from our veranda was so fantastic, there was no need to go anywhere else. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to please as well as very knowledgeable about the area. The cottage itself...

Ekuthuleni is a small lodge of 12 cottages on the banks of a river 10 Kms from the main road, down an unpaved road. There is no restaurant (the cottages are self catering and self contained) but a very small shop for a small selection of essentials. This is not a place if you need to be entertained. BUT if...

We stayed over in a chalet for 3 days. The resort is superbly run with very attentive staff. There is some game on the farm. The units are comfortable and well appointed - my wife was pleasantly surprised that even clothes pegs are supplied. They offer game drives but game is difficult to spot due to the thick bush. Tip...

Peaceful, clean, spacious and amazing sightings from our veranda! We have tried other self catering places and always end up back here for our winter holiday once a year as we can't find anywhere else that compares! The reserve at Ekuthuleni is a bit of a bust, but the Kruger is really close and we have had incredible sightings every...

This looks like a fantastic place to stay and use as day visitor launch pad into the Kruger park, while still allowing for kids to run wild without the constraints ofthem being eaten by wild animals. The houses are situated on the Olifants River which passes each cottage. Ours had 3 rooms. Two en-suit and one loft type room. The...

It was by far the best place we had been too in a while. Comfortable, spacious, clean and well maintained. The housekeeper and housekeeping exceptional. About 14 chalets on the Olifants river. You can view the hippos, crocodiles from the patio, which is fitted with a dining table and chairs. AIrconditioning was superb as it was hot in November//December. Pool...

There is good and bad about Ekuthuleni Lodge but the bad left such a sour taste in my mouth that I had to rate the entire stay based on that part of the experience. Read to the end to understand what we experienced and why one incident ended with us leaving with the words...."Never Again!" Overseas visitors were exposed to...
