They view is great. The tents are very well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We liked the concept of self catering with braai with the other guests. We could not wish for anything more.

The concept of this lodge is really nice and unique ! Every night you can eat (braai) together with the hosts and the other quests. Also the location is perfect...a perfect view on Kruger, from our terrace we saw 4/5. In short: 10 out of 10!! Thnx again! Rob & Marijke (NL)

Welcoming, friendly proprietors. Perfect location above the river where we viewed elephants, impala, lions and rhinos. Easy access to the park via the Crocodile Bridge. Delightful two night stay. Highly recommended.

Sunrise at the camp
Sorry missed this reply and also missed the spell checker changing Braii to Brain! No, I know what a Braii is but there are lots of mentions to the communal Braii evenings. I have worked out that these take place at the Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge not the Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp. Half the TA reviews for the latter are actually for the former so it's all very misleading.

yes, we booked a Kruger Park external sunrise game drive at Crocodile Bridge gate (just a few minutes drive from the camp across the bridge). It was a great experience with a good guide in a small open vehicle. We saw many birds and animals.
