We stayed for 4 magical nights and we were treated like royalty and our Guide did not give up until we manged to find a leopard to complete the Big 5. We ate and drank as much as we wanted. Comfy bed and an adventure we will never forget. Nothing in our room went missing. An absolute must stay and...

Beautiful lodge, lovely and friendly staff, Hoyo Hoyo remains a small gem in the bush. I enjoyed the professionalism and the passion of the ranger called Sweet Boy, the service at the lodge is always excellent and the whole atmosphere just magic. Thank you very much

We really had a great time in Hoyo-Hoyo! The service was excellent, all meals were fantastic! Special thanks to our “personal“ guide Suitboy, after the third game drive we had the big 5 in our cameras - even mating lions! No idea, how he made this - he showed us an eagle in a tree about hundred meters away from...

A wonderful safari resort where you really live side by side with the animals. I'll try to keep it brief....... The team on site - so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and Wonder was an absolute star, teaching us some of the local language and keeping us topped up with drinks (2 wings obviously!). The guides - Suiteboy was...

Hoyo Hoyo is perfect for anyone who wants to stay inside Kruger but still have luxury amenities. Everything that was within the control of the resort was a ten out of ten. The resort cannot control two things: the animals and the guests. Some people are annoying and animals can be a nuisance. Hoyo Hoyo cannot be responsible for this...

Yes 2008 was the year we first found Hoyo Hoyo, 09 saw us return. Both those visits gave us much joy, fun and first class game spotting we wondered would it be the same seven years on. It did not let us down, in fact it was better than ever. The first big plus is that many of the staff...

My husband and I went to Hoyo Hoyo with my brother-in-law and his wife. We had a wonderful three days there, the staff were super friendly and very helpful. We stayed in unique looking rondavels which were very comfortable. The outside shower was something we had never experienced before but it was nice and we enjoyed the full body massages....

Hoyo Hoyo is one of three bush lodges in a concession on the western side of the greater Kruger Park (we had previously stayed in the two other lodges, Hamiltons, and Imbali) so this was a good option for this mini-break. This is a small lodge with only 6 rooms, so the staff are generally very attentive. However, we did...
