The RM has created a truly magnificent safari experience... from the intimate game drives into the bush with expert rangers and trackers (Jonathan & Selby) to the incredible staff (Andrew) to the beautifully appointed luxury suites and delicious food to the serenely relaxing spa. It...More
We were accommodated at the 'Africa House' of Royal Malewane: a superb luxury building appart of the main center. They provided a separate Crew of chefs, waiters, maids etc to take care of us. Great cuisine - the chef trained by Gordon Ramsay. 5 luxerious...More
Our party of 14 stayed in the amazing Africa House at Royal Malewane this past June. The experience was simply amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, the house, and the location of this property. We went for two drives each day...More

Dear Abu A
Royal Malewane is not a hunting lodge - our focus is on conservation of wildlife and protection of endangered species.
Kind regards

Hi there
Night time temperatures in April are around 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit). But it can feel a lot cooler when on early morning game drive so we would recommend bringing something warm with you although we have blankets on the safari vehicles.
Please let us know if we can answer anything else for you.
Kind regards

Dear Valeria
How exciting! We are looking forward to welcoming you to Royal Malewane!
We can see that your agent has arranged the following transport for you:
11 November – you will land at Nelspruit Airport (MQP). From there you will have a road transfer to Royal Malewane with Seasons in Africa.
14 November – from Royal Malewane you fly on a shared charter to Singita Sabi Sand. This flight is run by Federal Air and they have luggage restriction of 20kgs of luggage in soft sided bags. This is enforced quite strictly for your safety. So whilst you could bring a bigger bag, it’s should be soft sided – all sides, and cannot weigh more than 20kgs per person. Hand luggage is a maximum of 5kgs – 1 piece only. The Kipling bags seem to have a rigid bag which is not ideal in terms of the luggage requirements so if you are able to bring alternative duffel bags it would be better.
We hope that helps, but if you would like to discuss further, please email our reservations team on reservations@trp.travel or +27 15 793 3977
Kind regards
The Royal Portfolio Team
