We recently left the Royal Malewane after an exceptional 4 night stay. The thatched roof suites are spacious and elegant,  especially if you enjoy more old world, colonial style.  They are well situated with plenty of space between each suite providing lots of privacy. There is

On arrival we were greeted by the hotel manager, spa manager, chef, and tour guide. That introced themselves and then asked us what would wanted or needed. They delivered on everything. There is no better service, food or lodging in the Greater Kruger. The art, furniture and

My husband and I have travelled to Africa 4 times, visiting 4 to 5 lodges each time, so we've seen quite a bit. Royal Malewane far, far exceeded anything we had experienced before. Our incredible guide, Riann Fourier and excellent tracker, Shadrack, made all the difference. On

What is included in the rate?
Everything! Well, spa treatments were extra, and gift shop items, but wonderful food, drinks, guiding, laundry and extremely friendly accommodating staff are seemingly just waiting to find a way to make you happy. There is an expected gratuity for staff which I do not recall, but happily left more than suggested. Really lovely property.

Do you offer hunting for the guests?

How cold is it in the mornings and evenings in late April?
Hi there Night time temperatures in April are around 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit). But it can feel a lot cooler when on early morning game drive so we would recommend bringing something warm with you although we have blankets on the safari vehicles. Please let us know if we can answer anything else for you. Kind regards The Royal Portfolio Team

Dear Valeria How exciting! We are looking forward to welcoming you to Royal Malewane! We can see that your agent has arranged the following transport for you: 11 November – you will land at Nelspruit Airport (MQP). From there you will have a road transfer to Royal Malewane with Seasons in Africa. 14 November – from Royal Malewane you fly on a shared charter to Singita Sabi Sand. This flight is run by Federal Air and they have luggage restriction of 20kgs of luggage in soft sided bags. This is enforced quite strictly for your safety. So whilst you could bring a bigger bag, it’s should be soft sided – all sides, and cannot weigh more than 20kgs per person. Hand luggage is a maximum of 5kgs – 1 piece only. The Kipling bags seem to have a rigid bag which is not ideal in terms of the luggage requirements so if you are able to bring alternative duffel bags it would be better. We hope that helps, but if you would like to discuss further, please email our reservations team on reservations@trp.travel or +27 15 793 3977 Kind regards The Royal Portfolio Team
