Second visit to this lodge after a significant gap, and it is still amazing. Food was excellent at all meals, service superb from everyone, and safaris (walking and driving) were amazing, with very knowledgeable guides. Would highly recommend.

This was our first safari. We were picked up from the lovely Skukusa Airport by our ranger Mica. As we drove to the Jock Lodge we found ourselves on our first safari. Our first siting was a Leopard up a tree. He was laying down with all his paws hanging down. We had a tremendous view with our binoculars and...

We booked three nights in Fitzpatrick however were accommodate with two rooms in Jock for our first night and thereafter moved over to Fitzpatrick. The facilities, staff and food at both camps exceeded our expectations with fabulous rooms with beautiful views. Yes -- it may seem a bit expensive on first glance, but boy did we love it! The game drives were unbelievable and the close up encounters our ranger found for us were unforgettable. I had a super experience in jocks safari. The food was great,i am vegetarian and gave me lots of choices , the staff were lovely, friendly and enthusiastic. The game drives were excellent and well planned. Stayed Jan 2015, solo traveler
