This was our first safari experience and Jock and it's team made it unforgettable! Jacob was our guide and every morning around 6 am he would give us a cheery wake up call for the first safari of the day. There was another safari every evening too! Jacob has the sharpest eyes and spotted animals and birds everywhere. We stayed...

My wife and I spent three days and nights in this wonderful old lodge in Kruger. It is the oldest lodge there and shows a little age but still wonderful. The area that they have to explore is smaller than most but has a strong concentration of animals compared to other areas. Jacob was our ranger and really got us...

It’s a Dog’s Life in Kruger Park Until fairly recently the only accommodation in the fabulous Kruger National Park was so-called public rest camps, fairly Spartan affairs. Jock Safari Lodge is one of a new breed of privately run safari lodges, on private concession areas within this world famous game reserve. The lodge is themed around Jock, South Africa's best...

My friends and I had a fabulous time at Jock Safari Lodge. The staff was amazing.... so friendly and all over our every need. Everything about our trip was seamless. Our guide Lazarus picked us up at Skukuza (which is the nicest airport ever, although not very big) and from the minute we left hte airport we began seeing wildlife...

The drive from Nelspruit airport to Kruger National Park was beautiful. Inside the Kruger by the river is this beautiful safari lodge The Jocks. From the moment the one enters to the moment one leaves the lodge and its surroundings will keep you spell bounded. The welcome drink, easy check in, the souvenir shop everything adds to the whole 5...

I spent amazing 3 days at this lodge with my family. The drive from Skukza airport to the lodge was like a safari drive and we saw so many animals on the way. Our ranger Jacob was extremely knowledgeable and delightful person. On our first day at the lodge, while having our lunch there was an "elephant show". A herd...

Where Jock Safari Lodge really shines is it's service. Everything was absolutely seamless. We arrived into Skukuza (cutest airport in the world, highly recommend flying in here) and our ranger, Lazarus, picked us up. He was our transportation to and from the airport and also our ranger on our two daily game drives and was excellent! Amongst other things, he...

This place absolutely took our breath away. Beautifully presented accommodation. Food was incredible as was the service. The ranger was incredibly dedicated in finding the animals we needed to see before leaving...for us... the elusive leopard. As we laid on our day bed overlooking the riverbed, we witnessed a rhino 'show down'. We had a beautiful dinner under the star...

From collection from the delightful Skukuza airport to the game drives, secluded accommodation and dining experiences everything was handled exceptionally well by this long established lodge. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food plentiful and delicious. The game drives were interesting and tailored to individual requirements. Well worth it

If you are considering a safari holiday then you will surely do no better than Jock. The location, accommodation, food and staff - particularly the rangers - are all awesome. Driving the dried river beds is something pretty much exclusive to Jock within the Kruger and is a stand-out experience for me. Ben the ranger was an amazing guide spotting...
