We stayed in a standard suite, the last one (E7) at the end of the raised walkway from the main lodge. The accommodation was excellent, spacious overlooking the river and the bush with animals passing by. Experiencing the outside shower or cavernous bath overlooking the bush was superb. The facilities, food, safaris and staff were great particularly Shane and Themba...

A stunningly beautiful place, worth every penny! When my husband entered our lodge, he said, can we just stay here till we leave South Africa? Food and service are great, sightings were exceptional... we' ll come back.

We loved it. We've made many safaris and visit a lot of private lodges. This one is in our top 5. Ranger Shane and tracker Timba an A for your drives! We saw the big five. There was also attention for the small things in the bush. Very friendly staf and excellent food. High service level. We come back in...

Our guide, Werner, was really passionate about what he does, and worked hard to make the whole experience memorable. The lodge is beautiful, but it's really the safari portion that makes or breaks a stay. I've done safaris at several different places, and Lukimbi has been my favorite thus far. The rooms are all lovely, and elephants come up to...

We booked for a three night stay at Lukimbi Lodge. From a rocky start (ours, not theirs, as we missed our flight to Kruger and therefore the transfer), they were not phased by anything and managed to get us to the resort before the gates closed. We were welcomed, made to feel part of the safari family. Food and beverages...

My wife and i have just left Lukimbi yesterday after a fantastic stay as part of our 30th wedding anniversary holiday in the Kruger park area. Lukimbi has definitely been the highlight of the holiday with a wonderful experience with a Leopard in tree seemingly "posing" for photos at the end of our last evening Safari drive. Shane was our...

The food is wonderful, The have a great chef. The game drives are so cool. You see something different every time you go out. We saw...

I'm no fan of zoos- they bore me- so I had a little trepidation when we decided to go on "safari". Who knew I would have so much fun and staying at the Lukimbi was a big part of it. First our guide, James, was beyond superb. I'm sure their other guides were good, but James consistently knew where to...

This Hotel as the charm of a 5 stars hotel. The rooms are simple superb. With the giant marble tub, the balcony and the outside shower. The staff is very professional and there is a warm feeling every time you arrive to the hotel. The guides are just the best and they mingle with the guest as if you were...
