A very late decision to extend our visit to commence earlier and we were fortunate to find accomodation available. We saw heaps of elephant and buffalo in the afternoon and lion sittings close to camp the next morning.

I stayed there over Christmas and it was not overcrowded. It was quiet and peaceful and I got that "in the bush feeling". There is many routes that you can drive around the camp and it is also not too far from Skukuza. The chalets is basic, but very neat and it has an aircon.

We stayed 1 night in this camp. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the camp and huts. The AC worked great. The staff were very friendly. Would stay again. The location of the camp means that game viewing is limited, but that doesn't take anything away from the quality of the camp itself.

I wouldn't recommend staying longer than 2 nights. Very basic, which is fine. The outside needs more lights though as the one by the fridge makes things difficult. Otherwise a pleasant stay. We stayed for one night and I was quite happy with that arrangement.

This is a well kept camp, basic accommodation but adequate, fairly private, a nice place for a one night stay. There is a swimming pool, brain facilities outside each hut and helpful, friendly staff. There is a shop which sells a good variety of food.

During our early morning drives we stopped at this camp for a Wimpy coffee. We visited this camp on three separate days and every time the public ablution specifically the ladies was filthy and full of cockroaches. Disgusting.

Pretoriuskop was clean , and like the rest of the park run camps - aging and in dire need of some upkeep and modernization. the pool was a source of major attraction , and was amazing on a hot summer day, the food in the wimpy was pretty decent although service took some time despite it not being terribly busy....

There are a lot of people that discard Pretoriuskop as a chosen restcamp yet it is one of my favourites with a lot of old world charm. For some reason the other visitors at Pretoriuskop are just friendlier the staff are fabulous and the whole place is always spotless. I am going to be reviewing a few camps and I...

The facilities are good with a commune set up and central cooking place for all tourists with a cooking and cleaning place . Lighting for the camp is not all that good in all the place. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with everyone else. Whilst I found that these were clean my friends found this uncomfortable especially to move out...
