We are so happy visiting Chestnut country lodge. Nice rooms and a beautifull garden with swimmingpool. Breakfast and meals were excellent. Our host Christien and her assistant did a lot of work to get our luggage lost at the airport of Paris to transport to the Chestnut. We hope to visit Chestnut in the future

Very nice lodge, great view, kind staff, good food and very good wine. The staff is really interested in you and gave us good tips for things to do. Go for the panorama route and take money with you for paying that the gates of the mini parks underway. For lunch take a pancake at Harry's in Graskop.

Received great personal service from the owner/manager throughout the stay - very friendly and helpful. Rooms were neat and tidy - modest accommodation. Repairs done to adjacent room during our stay was a bit noisy early in the morning. Great view on the veranda. Lovely breakfast daily. Enjoyed the peacefulness of the bush veld.

I had an absolutely fabulous time. The lodge is in a quite scenic area. Luscious green bushes and plants, all around. The sounds of birds was very soothing. Loved the squirrels and dasies. It was the first time I saw chestnuts too. An experience I would like to do again.

What a beautiful Country Lodge. Tucked away between banana plantations with spectacular views and the most gorgeous sunset. Guinevere and her team went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I strongly recommend staying over at Chestnut Country Lodge if you are in the area.
