We enjoyed 3 tranquil days at Sabie River Bush Lodge. The staff were charming and relaxed and our air conditioned tent was a treat. The food was perfectly palatable. The wildlife i.e. Spiders in the shower block added to the adventure!

We arrived at the start of our holiday to find a mix up between Booking.com and the Lodge. Booking was for 2 adults and a child, the room only accommodates 2 adults. The Lodge staff turned us away and said we should look in the area for other accommodation. After quite some persuasion (1hr) we convinced the management to squeeze...

On the plus side the people were kind and helpful, the restraunt was good and the prices fair. The Safari trips were great and the guide was the best. On the minus side the rooms described as"Luxury River View" were poor and could not be described as "Luxury" more like basic. Ours had a stoop with a little table with...

Hi Royn thank you for your business and for your business we all really appreciate it. It is regrettable that you describe our rooms as basic, which as you can see from the previous 400 reviews is not so. I have followed up with the Lodge GM as to the state of the pool loungers as these were all repaired...

I could write a long story but to cut it short we had a wonderful stay here. The staff are very friendly. They welcome a lot of foreign guest from places they have never been so there's some fascination when they ask you where are you from. Anyway the food is devine, the rooms look trendy, fresh & new. The...

The lodge is good, staff is friendly. The food is great, 3 course meals are prepared every evening. You can do game safari's (several choices). Lucky is a good ranger who gives a lot of information during the game drive. We rented a tent and had our own kitchen and shower cabin (male and female are separated). The bed in...

very bumpy entrance, there was no TV and bar fridge in the room (this is standard everywhere you go, just because you are on holiday it doesn't mean you should not watch the news). open shower that leaves a slippery surface afterwards (hazard) and you try put a floor towel and it gets all wet. i am not impressed.

Third time around and each time the visit is better than before. Staff went the extra mile to make my visit a most pleasant experience. Also, the accommodation we had, was lovely. Regrettably we could not go on a game drive, as it rained all the time - but will do so next visit.

There is a small self catering kitchen unit just behind the tent and has all that you would need to cook for yourself. Their is also your own brai to use, which...
