Interesting thatched cottage type rooms. Front desk very helpful and directed us to advantage for a cruise on the estuary - the jetty was down a short road almost opposite the lodge. Ideal location on Main Street where all the restaurants are. Wifi only available near reception. Breakfast excellent and friendly local staff.

In a Great location on McKenzie Street and offering a real African experience, we are big fans of the lodge. The rooms are atmospheric and very comfortable. Dianne who runs the lodge is a great host, giving hints and tips about how to get the best out of your visit.

we were happy to visit at the lodge and most of the things were fine except that we were not happy with the breakfast provided. this is a Four star hotel therefore there suppose to be variety in food selection instead of being limited to one order.

Welcome by Robin a very friendly lady at the reception desk doing her very best to manage everything what crossed her path. She did it with a great sense of humor. Rooms were ok and we found a good breakfast in the fridge for the early rise for the morning game drive. There was a 4 hour power break. The...

Superb assistance from the reception and the staff. The rooms were wonderful. We had 16 people staying and everything was so friendly and accommodating. We did an early morning game drive and we had mothers with babies in our group doing a self drive. The staff was so kind to provide us with a sack breakfast. It was appreciated.Thank you....

I had a excellent safari, beautiful sea view and hospitable hosts. The cleaning staff were loving and kind.. Did all our ironing while taking bath . The kitchen staff very friendly . The geographic area is well positioned to explore the isimangliso wetland better. I would definitely refer my friends and colleagues to Amazulu lodge

We visited St Lucia as family of four on 14-19 December 2015. our first 3 nights were spent at another lodge and 17 - 19 at Amazulu Lodge. We were not impressed when viewing the facility from the street as was on the website. Car entrance was also not visible and thought we would be expected to park on the...

I always have a tension between choosing Average or Very Good on this website when what I really want to say is Good. Here, I have gone with Average, as it was the most expensive place we stayed on our road trip (although still not super expensive), although really it is closer to Good. First, the good stuff: - very...
