Very central hotel, which was great for exploring the village. You can walk easily to restaurants and shops. Don't stay here if you are expecting luxury accommodation but if you are looking for a safe, clean, family friendly hotel with nice rooms and a pool...this is as good a place as any. The breakfast was amazing but I wouldn't worry...

The Elephant Lake hotel used to be a Protea Hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy and comfortable. Some of the rooms overlook the river and you can hear and at times see the hippo in the evenings. There is a restaurant on the premises and many fast food joints around the area. St Lucia seems to be very popular...

We had a game walk we booked with the reception. Matthew was our guide he made time to organize a trip for us. So we had our private guide today. A friendly one with a lot of knowledge of the surrounding area. We did a safari walk and found out ,like us, Matthew also had a big heart for the...

The hotel is situated along the river and has beautiful gardens. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are very attentive and the breakfast was acceptable. Conference facilities were not so good, we had to ask the people in the room next door to keep quiet!

For the price this was good value. Lovely view from our upstairs room. Comfortable bed. Cons, walls were not very soundproofed and voices in the hallway echoed. However people kept voices down after 10 so it did not disturb us much. Sink was cracked but clean. Shower could use some renovating but was clean and functioned. Pros, we could walk...

A lovely clean room, quiet, good facilities. The curtain was torn a little, otherwise just fine.Easy to find and accessible to the main street restaurants by foot - I will definitely stay again at this Hotel. Very friendly staff too.Street parking was guarded overnight so very safe.

Recently slept at this hotel. It's not really the best I've ever been to. The food and staff are lovely but the room wasn't quite clean. There was hair in my bed and all over my shower and the room smelled really bad. The furniture was quite old and rusty and I didn't really sleep peacefully cos I could help...

Thank you for your review. I find it strange that you refer to rusted furniture as all is wooden furniture. With regards to your concern over bugs, you can sleep peacefully as the Hotel has a very strict Hygiene and Pest Control system in place. We look forward to welcome you back again

My Fiance and I stayed at Elephant Lake hotel in March. The main reason for choosing it was more because we made a last minute decision to go to St Lucia and it was one of the only places to have availability. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and have Aircon - a huge plus in summer. However, the rooms...

Service is slow...don't expect anyone to help you carry your bags to your room either. The rooms though are quite pleasant and comfortable. There are no kids activities besides a pool and jungle gym. The bar is dead and there is normally no one there. The corridor lighting could be brighter..it is a bit dark and dingy. The reception area...

Thank you for your review. St Lucia as a destination has so much to do for all ages, that it keeps guests out and about for days only to return for a good night's rest. There are also various pubs around town for the guests who wants more social interaction. Your input is appreciated

Just returned from a night stay here. Very efficient booking with Bernadette. We arrived to check in however due to my mistake we were an entire day early (combination of flu and a baby takes its toll). However reception was very accommodating and thankfully managed to give us a room. The room (25) was on the ground floor at the...
