There are no words I could use to describe the accommodation and experiences that would do it justice. We stayed in the upper lodge and it was simply a little bit of heaven on earth. The accommodation was 5* and then some more, the team an absolute pleasure and the safaris just took my breath away. I can't wait to... More

We stayed in Safari Lodge. We have stayed in both Rock and Safari in the past and are more than happy with Safari as you are more able to see the animals as they pass the lodge. Rooms are superb, food superb but most of all the staff are amazing. Our ranger Steward and tracker Dan were wonderful (but then... More

Having written some rave reviews about this place, it seems only fair that I give an honest view of a far less positive experience. I've always been a big fan of Ulusaba and recommended it to many people. But my recent trip was really disappointing sadly. It seems they have lost their edge and perhaps become a little comfortable and... More

I just left Ulusaba, and I plan to return with my husband in a couple of months. Ulusaba had everything I hoped for in a safari experience - especially being on my own. The lodges were beautiful and peaceful (I stayed one night at Rock Lodge and two in a River room at Safari Lodge), my rooms were gorgeous and... More

We stayed 4 nights at Ulusaba, the first two in safari lodge and the second two at rock lodge. This meant we had the best of both worlds, close up encounters with the wildlife at safari lodge followed by the amazing views from rock lodge This was the first part of our honeymoon and we were definitely spoilt for the... This was our first serious safari holiday and we chose well. We opted to split our 5 night stay between Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge, the two lodges within the reserve. We could not fault either lodge and it is almost impossible to choose between the two as they are each unique. Safari lodge with it's suspended walkways amongst the... More

We got married and stayed at Ulusaba in march and miss this place already. Everything about this place and ALL of the people there make it very hard to leave, we could not find one single flaw! From the moment we arrived until the second we left was simply perfection. We cannot thank the resort team enough for a time... More

We have visited Ulusaba Private Game Reserve staying in all three lodges (Safari, Rock and Cliff) almost thirty times in eight years. If you are looking for excellent game sightings, both the big five and the small five, coupled with complete luxury and excellent food this is the place for you.

I wasn't expecting to like this place quite as much as I did! I knew it would be lovely but it went beyond that. Although my first view of the rock suite bathroom was a greeting by two spiders (!), I didn't let that get in the way of a fabulous stay. Rock suite.....lovely, bit dark in the bathroom, bed... Everything about this place is amazing...honestly! From the moment to arrive to the minute you leave, you feel like a celebrity. The friendly customer service is like nothing we had ever experienced! The food, the drink, the lodge, the staff, the safari, the local village tour - everything is superb! We stayed in the safari lodge but went up to... More
