My wife and I stayed at Sun City during the last two days of an otherwise incredible two week African vacation. After counting our money and placing it in our bags on the morning of Feb. 15, we set out to enjoy some of the many amenities the resort has to offer. We returned about four hours later and discovered...

My husband and I took his niece and his Mother to Kwena for a couple of days as part of their trip to South Africa. We were all very impressed with the accommodation, service and general ambience of the resort. Only suggestion would be to have a small plunge pool for guests as not everyone wants to trek all the...

Trip Advisor Kwena Gardens Chalets Sun City This is my third trip to Sun City, which is always fabulous. There is so much to do there – Pilanesberg Game Reserve is next door; there is a water park with a beach, wave pool and water slides; a lake with para-sailing, jet skis and a cruise; a small children’s-type farm; horse-back...

we spent there two nights in august. it's the cheapest hotel inside sun city and it's really good. nothing of special but good. we spent there very good days visiting pilanesberg nat park during the day and sun city in the night. so kwena is modern, clean and well furnished, breakfast good enough. if you consider that you will be inside sun...

Though Kwena is within the Sun City complex it offers a tranquil retreat from the throb of South Africa's mini Las Vegas, which is only a couple of minutes drive away. Once within Kwena you really would not know that it is part of the busy attraction nearby. It's impossible to pick out any one thing for particualr praise. The...

We stayed at Kwena for 2 nights last week. The location is excellent and we are so glad we opted for this place rather than the hotels in sun City itself. We tended to get the Sky train rather than the shuttle. The breakfast is good and so is the service. The only problem we had was our chalet (6)...

We spend three relaxing and nice nights at Kwena Chalets. The Chalets are cozy, very spacious and comfortable, with huge bathrooms. But most important: it is a tranquil environment, completely different from the concrete hotels in the rest of Sun City. Here, at this place you can relax, enjoy the garden and enjoy the Crocodile Sanctuary, which is really fun...

I took clients there at the end of June 2009, the staff were helpful,we bought in kosher food and they let us make use of there kitchen. It has beautiful chalets, reasonable for sUN cITY sTANDARDS and is close to both the hectic pace of Sun City and also Pilansberg. I would recommend this quite corner of Sun City.

Kwena Chalets is the perfect place to stay at Sun City. Forget the Cabanas the Chalets are perfect, private and quiet right in the middle of the crocodile farm. The rondavels were great, they have a real African feel to them. My husband and I and our two children stayed here, the rondavels were spacious enough even though the kids...

Stayed for 3 nights. Kwena provides something different to the Sun City experience - ie not just another hotel. The chalets are modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent value. It was a very relaxing place to stay after returning from the bright lights and adventure activities at Sun City during the day.
