We stayed at 52 De Wet for four nights in April 2016. Right from when we arrived (and were greeted with sparkling wine and cake) to when we departed (a little after check out time, but that wasn't a problem) the service was fantastic. The views from the dinning area over looking the pool have to be seen to be...

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. The room you mention is our secluded suite, it does make for excellent value with fantastic private space.

I needed quiet, a hideaway to be at still and get some rest. From internet searches, 52 De Wet seemed ideal. And thus it proved to be. Stunning location, calm ambience, kind and accommodating staff. The place is an Elysian dream. Thanks to you, Marnie & Russell, and your delightful team. Would love to visit again if possible.

Mostly excellent especially if you book the best room. Perhaps not as good if you don't. Staff are excellent and genuinly friendly and helpful and it would be wrong to single anyone out for special praise. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing boutique hotel, especially for couples. The view over the ocean is stunning. Only a 5 minute drive from the waterfront, and camps bay. Beautiful room with a big bathroom and a private terrace watching over the sea. Would definately come back when again in Cape Town.

Thank you for this lovely review, I feel you have summed up exactly how we want our brand experienced. We are not a large hotel or part of a chain and wish to create a home away from home feeling with great service and impeccable views. The hotel is chic and sophisticated. Marnie is genuinely helpful and friendly. We stayed only two nights but both me and my wife had an amazing stay. Definetely a place I would recommend, better with a car of your own.

Thank you for the recommendation, it is useful to have a car as we are high up on Lions Head. However, taxi services are very good value.

I came here for 3 days with my boyfriend and honestly if I have to go back to Cape Town I wouldn't need to search for a hotel because there is no where else I'd like to go; Great hotel, fantastic staff, loved the homy-feeling of the hotel.
