Being away from home for long periods of times are quite challenging to say the least. To find a place you can call home, is even harder. With my arrival at TYGER HILLS Guest House and the welcoming of the host, Martin I immediately felt at home. Check in has never been so easy and the assistance with luggage offload which is always a hassle for me, was done within a wink of an eye. The room is in an ammaculate condition and extremely comfortable with whatever is needed. What struck me the most is that towels are changed every second day, which give peace of mind especially in the circumstances we live in at the moment. It is ideally situated for travelling to and from Cape Town. I give TYGER HILLS Guest House a 5 star rating! Barbara - current patron

Tyger Hills Guest House is situated conveniently close to the N1 highway and a few shopping malls. We want to thank Martin & Henrietta for their hospitality. Whenever we come to Cape Town you are our first choice and we stayed in a variety of units, single, couple, family and all the units are very comfortable, very need and well-equipped. City Centre and airport in close proximity. The swimming pool and braai facilities are always need and well maintained. We also like the secure parking inside the property with access control gate and the free WiFi is excellent.

I stayed at the guesthouse during the covid 19 lockdown period. During this time the owner implemented safety measures like installing sanitizing stations throughout the property, a uv box at the reception to decontaminate keys, cellphones, remotes etc and all rooms are being cleaned and sanitized with proper cleaning equipment. Besides feeling safe and at ease regarding the ongoing pandemic while staying there I enjoyed the great view from the top floor, ample safe parking and the large, clean well equipt rooms. The owners and staff are friendly and makes you feel at home. The guesthouse is close to the N1 highway and a great location from which to explore the Durbanville winelands and even the city which is only 20km away. Will recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable stay while visiting Cape Town.…
