We stayed at Cape Goodness in the loft for a weekend and were really impressed from the minute we arrived. We were greeted by Renee with such a warm welcome. We were even more impressed when we entered the unit, it is spacious and tastefully furnished. Such a warm and inviting space, with everything we needed at hand. Will definitely...

The hostess was so sweet initially. I even decided to extend my stay for a week and i got a R50 discount. Out of the blue she decided that i cannot park in the garage anymore. That the garage was reserved for people staying in the more expensive units and i was done a favour for allowing me to park...

Renee K, Owner at Cape Goodness Guest House, responded to this review

Simangele was not able to book with Cape Goodness, because the guest house was fully booked. The student room she occupied at a minimal fee does not have access to the guest garage parking. This was explained respectfully and kindly to her. Simangele was extremely upset about the property parking rules and she made it very clear that she was...

I often travel, and usually find good places, but not this one. it seems the guest house service is done like a side occupation! accommodation is fair and on standard, but the details is sorely missing. very little toiletries. it is simply average. the space is good, though. it is also quite 'out of the way'!!

It is quite a pity to be reviewed by someone who has not stayed at the guest house. Had the reviewer stayed with Cape Goodness, this review may have reflected differently. We have recently received a reward of excellence from one of the world-leading booking sites working with Trip Advisor. We are ideally located 3 km's from Tyger Valley Shopping...

We spent 10 days in this beautifully appointed guest house in July. Clean, spacious, in a lovely quiet suburb, we felt totally at home while all our needs were met by the owner, Renee. Her warm, generous spirit and attention to detail made us feel so welcome and valued. We will most certainly be back, to once again enjoy the...

I stayed four nights and found the guesthouse excellent. Quiet neighbourhood, close to restaurants. Very well equipped and nice attention to detail. Will come back and can recommend the loft. Only thing for me was that there was "no sign" outside, so I found it a little hard to find, but not a big thing.

Great location, close to amenities & quiet suburb. Well furnished & nice decor. Switching on our electric blanket & lights whilst we were out at night. Plunger with filter coffee & rusk. Perfect for business & pleasure.

Enjoyed four days of great stay at a place that was so much 'home'. Good breakfast, very attentive house owners and above all great location. Great for family visits as well to wind down. Will love to spend days on to just do some reading and writing.

Family owned spacious guest house with others on site. Owners make you feel welcomed and every facility on hand and I had a very enjoyable stay. Close to motorway and Tyger Valley shopping centre. 20 minute travel time to Cape Town and 25 minutes to the airport.

Thank Retha E
