We stayed in the Zest hotel prior to going on a South African cruise, From the moment we arrived the staff couldnt do enough to make our stay magical, The rooms were beautiful and comfortable . We loved sitting on the rooftop taking in newyear with drinks and nibbles . The pool area was very relaxing with sunbeds and shaded area. The staff catered for us very well , The breakfast was excellent and well presented served on the balcony, The shuttlebus from hotel had no problem dropping off and picking up at any location, Capetown was a special place and would recommend this hotel to anyone, so from our friends and us we would give five stars on every aspect, Would love to return sometime.
Zest is a wonderful place to stay in Cape Town! We planned on joining a cruise and you can see the cruise ships in port from here. There is so much more about Zest... located close to the wonderful V&A Waterfront and downtown Cape Town attractions makes it great place to explore Cape Town. The staff is VERY helpful with whatever your needs are. Breakfast in the morning is some of the best we have had at B&B's. Room is comfy! Nice pool for warm days and you can sit outside.
10 room boutique hotel with easy walking distance to the V&A waterfront as well as the central business district. Had a balconied room with a nice view of the waterfront. Room was very clean and spacious. It’s serviced twice a day and complimentary bottled water is left each time. Oversized king bed with a terrific mattress, pillows and quality linen. The shower is located within the bedroom area so if you’re not with your sweetheart you may miss a bit of privacy. The toilet is contained behind a door. Morning breakfast is nicely done with numerous hot items made to order as well as a cold buffet. The staff are absolutely terrific. They recognize you and greet you by name as you come and go. They’ll assist with any needs including arranging transportation with a trusted driver whom they have a relationship with. I really can’t say enough as to how wonderful the staff are!! The Zest Boutique is a perfect place to reside as you explore Cape Town. …
We started our visit at the Zest hotel in Cape Town with amazing customer service and great rooms. The rooms were very clean and had anything you could need. The staff was extremely friendly and didn’t have any problem with any request. Their breakfast is very tasty and they are very helpful when it comes to getting taxis.
When planning a week to spend in South Africa, we had heard about the Living Journey boutique hotels. We had stayed in the Tree House before and were looking for the personal touch experienced with this collection of boutique hotels and it was just as special as we wished. We contacted them and they suggested we spend one or two nights in some of their hotels. They organized transfers between hotels so we didn’t even need to hire a car which turned out to be a great decision. Everyone working in the hotels was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We wanted to eat out so the bed and breakfast option was ideal. All hotels are an easy stroll to town with a choice of restaurants. Breakfast is delicious with buffet food - fruit, pastries, cheeses etc and plenty of cooked options. There is a homemade cake every day mid afternoon and coffee /tea all day. The poolside deck chairs have thick cushions and are fabulously comfortable for relaxing by the pool. There is a bar for evening drinks before heading out. Some hotels have specialty gins/brandy. Each hotel is unique with its own style and personality which makes it very interesting to travel between hotels. We had a fabulous trip and will definitely book again when back in South Africa. We had a lovely room with a balcony. The outdoor area on the ground level is really nice especially for eating breakfast outside, but after a long journey we preferred to crash on the fabulous roof terrace which was very spacious with waterfront views. The location was quiet on a suburban road yet around 10 mins walk to the waterfront. We had dinner at Carne which was excellent. Love this hotel and want to come back.…
We spent a total of 5 nights at the hotel. The owner was extremely friendly and took lots of time to have a personal chat with us. The hotel is very modern and cares about the environment. Great breakfast, nice pool. But I guess most outstanding was the friendlyness of the entire staff! Each day they greeted each guest by name, asked us about our daily plans and gave us all kinds of tips. It became such a personal relationship that we even hugged eachother when we left. That never happened to me.
We had a perfect stay at Zest Boutique Hotel. The property is well maintained, the room was very clean and comfortable and best of all the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Luca in particular was great as she arranged a guide to take us for a hike up table mountain and was always so helpful. Our guide, Ismael, was outstanding and it could not have been a better experience. Natale was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location-close to many things but very quiet. We will return.
The warm welcome of the staff started off a few days of Capetown. The location of the hotel is great as well as the hotel itself. Rooms were nice and breakfast was good. Personell was always on top of things and carrying a nice smile. Special thanks to Fay for here nice words and smile. When back in Capetown this will be the play to stay.
We stayed in this house hotel for four nights while we are in Cape Town. The visit was outstanding. The rooms were new, comfortable, bright… Everything you could ask for. Included breakfasts were outstanding it was a large menu and a special every day. And the location was absolutely perfect. They have a rooftop deck as well as a comfortable seating area on the main floor near the breakfast area. There's also a pool, lounge chairs, fire pit, etc. The staff was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful and always available. We really felt at home when staying here.
We found our bed and room quite comfortable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and responsive. Plans were easily set up for day trips and we loved the effort they made to keep us informed as plans progressed. There were several good restaurants nearby and staff made reservations easily. It was really helpful.
