I spent a lot of time for flying, bus to get the hotel. Staffs knew that and helped us check in very early without any fee. I appreciate that. Hotel is in the center. It was a nice room to view outside. I will be back.

Let me start by saying, we did not book this hotel, we booked into the V&A Waterfront Hotel and when we were picked up by the hotel car the airport, we were told we were upgraded to a five star sister hotel, Dock House. To be honest, I am not so sure if it is an upgrade in terms of...

We were upgraded from their sister hotel the Queen Victoria on our recent visit to this stunning little property. The service, food and rooms were were absolutely fantastic. The manager Jaid went out of his way to look after us and all our needs and Peter (I think his name was) was great at breakfast. Overall a really wonderful stay...

I have written a review of the hotel called the Islands of Siankaba, Zambia and I think the Dock House could learn a few tips from that fabulous hotel. The location is excellent for accessing the V&A waterfront, but that is all I can say in its favour. We have stayed at the Cape Grace before and the Dock House...

Dock House is exactly as advertised, something I find refreshing in foreign hotels. The intimate property has just six rooms (give or take) and is a refurbished home just off the V&A Waterfront. On a hill and set back from the street, it is remarkably quiet for being in a tourist hub. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed by the...

The building has been beautifully restored. So, if you like a nice intimate boutique hotel (only 6 rooms), excellent location, friendly & helpful staff, clean rooms, big rooms with huge bathroom, then this is the place to stay. The location is excellent. Across the road from the Waterfront precinct where all the shops, restaurants and action happens. Was a little...

My husband and I stayed in a 2nd floor suite which was spacious with a small balcony. The hotel is convenient to the waterfront, which is quite noisy until about 11 PM. There were 2 major problems: The shower didn't drain properly so we were always standing in over an inch of water. Management was sympathetic but could not resolve....

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on the ground floor in room 502, which is a large suite. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was enormous. Very nice location at the waterfront but also quite noisy in the evenings because of loud music from the restaurants nearby. I travelled alone as a woman but feld perfectly safe at hotel and also in the surroundings.
