Amazing ambience with great service. We got a room on the 14th floor and the view was great! The breakfast is splendid and the concierge takes a lot of time to cater to your need so that you get a good tour. The rooms are also very luxurious. All in all a great combo 👍

It Was a lovely Sunday Morning after 7am Eucharist at St Georges Cathedral - followed by a visit to the Taj ... Two eggs medium with saut'ed mushrooms and Fried tomatos all nice and square on toast with a pot of freshly ground. A nice way to start the Day - unbelievable service. The Taj is consistently brillant.

https://www.facebook.com/gautam.borooah/posts/10201641864605922:0 If you wonder why the room rates are so inexpensive, you will know once you encounter the service which is very average at best. Not up to international 5 standards and certainly not like any of the other fabulous hotels in South Africa we have stayed in.

I recently stayed 3 nights at the Taj at the end of a missions trip for Thirst Project, an organization I work with. While the hotel had one or two little glitches, I have to give it an exceptionally high, almost off-the-charts 5 star rating!!! Among the very few things they could improve: -change checkout from 11 am to noon...

We stayed for five nights at this wonderful hotel which was converted from historical colonial buildings. The room and service were all first class - welcoming, pampering and luxurious. I liked the high ceilings in the room and the generously sized bathroom. Its location is unbeatable, within 10 minutes walking distant from most historical sites / popular tourist spots within...

Its a small spa and I think because of that you feel like you are the only person there. It really feels very personal with great attention to detail. From the moment you walk in there untill they have to ask you to leave you are just relaxing. Just enjoyed every moment of it.
