The only five-star attribute of the Cape Town Hilton is the price. It does not live up to the usual Hilton standard. As at December 2016, the time of our stay, the hotel was being renovated. Our room was freshly upgraded - we could still smell the fresh paint. It was a reasonable size with a nice view over the...

Friends advised that the hotel was in a not so good (safe) neighborhood and that a hotel at the waterfront or at one of the beaches would be a better choice. This not true. The hotel location is very good to excellent, in the middle of everything - BoKaap, shopping center, waterfront (free hotel shuttle bus), table mountain, etc. The...

Stayed for three nights in an impressive executive suite which was very spacious. Concierge were very helpful and housekeeping excellent. Hourly shuttle bus to the waterfront is very useful. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very poor when compared to my last stay. On the three mornings we had breakfast, there were frequently no glasses or bowls. Breakfast menus were only provided...

On arriving on day one, I ordered room service food for the family, and it came an hour and fifteen minutes late. When I asked the waiter, he said he didn't know why the food was late because the kitchen was not busy. The apartment was clean and beautiful, but on one occasion I had to ask for the replacement...

I wouldn't do one more step in this hotel... They should look for a new manager, it is really bad what they offer to the guest, or better what they don't offer... I stay in Hiltons all over the world, this hotel don't get even 3 stars. Sorry guys, there is so much to complain, that I don't know where...

We stayed in the Hilton as part of our honeymoon. The room was big and absolutely spotless. The service was very friendly and although the lobby was going through some renovation, we weren't bothered by it at all. We would definately stay here again and enjoy the great view we had of the table mountain from our room.

This is a great hotel in the city centre. Very luxurious hotel with good rooms for a good price. Very modern bathroom and a good bed. Executive lounge could have been better though. Certainly recommendable for table mountain view aswell!

The staff made our stay memorable and comfortable. They arranged day trips for us and made sure we knew where we were going as well as the time we needed to be there. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel but the breakfast at the hotel was very good. Our room did not have much of...
