Ralf and his team are wonderful hosts. Very warm ambiance, calm and clean. The Little Lemon Tree is like an island in the vibrant city of CT. It is ideally located near the Waterfront either for walking or taxi/bus exploration of the city. We loved the nice breakfast outside in the shade and the inspiring conversation with Ralf at the... Is it the location being so close to the beaches and a shortish distance from the Waterfront and city? Is it the magnificent sub tropical gardens and the immaculate lawn scattered with deck chairs? Is it the rooms that are beautifully cleaned every day? Maybe it is the communal breakfast where you can sit and chat to other guests for... More

Arriving by car in Cape Town earlier than expected and on a weekend, we were lucky enough to randomly find this place very late in the evening, after every other place we checked were full. And what a find! The staff was very helpful, helping me park the rental car in the already overcrowded street and being just very nice... More

The little lemon tree is a real treasure and one fears that it might get so popular that it is going to be difficult to find a room here nnext time you want to stay with Ralf. But hey, one should share what one loves and the little lemon trees'success is more than deserved. Highly addictive in any case -... More

We had a really great time. Rlaf was super welcoming. He took a personal interest in his guests. He helped where ever he could. The rooms have a decent size. Are always clean and organized. Great that it has a fridge and a safe. We felt home away from home and can only recommend this place to anyone one visiting... More

Great for quick access to the town and transport links to the beach, it's also quiet and the breakfast is a winner,... More

In general a very well located guest house with lots of charm and friendly owner and staff. They serve a lovely continental breakfast outside in summer. This guest house is more for visitors on a relaxing holiday as it is a problem getting breakfast served earlier than 8h30 if you are staying over for business and have a hectic schedule.

We enjoyed a 4-day stay at the Little Lemon Tree. Our room, in the main house, with big, private balcony was lovely: wooden floors, beautiful colours, comfortable bed, great shower. Not sound-proof, but the atmosphere of the house and the place makes up for that. The beautiful and creatively designed garden, is also a nice place to spend some time.... More

“Depending on your tastes consider to ask for either the old house which is antique and very well restored or new house which is modern and made to look like the old one in a very tasteful manner Personally I seem to think Cape Town is one of the best Cities in the World ,it certianly is unique and might not necessarily be cost effective to visit for ever”
