We stayed four nights at the Underberg, which is situated in a quiet and friendly Neighborhood, our room was modern and well kept, the bathroom very comfortable, as well as our bed. The breakfast was sufficient, including eggs and fruits and our hosts and their staff were very friendly and helpful, also in arranging tickets for us and giving advice....

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful guest house and it was the perfect location for us to explore Cape Town for the first time. It's just a five minutes walk away from Kloof street where you can find plenty of good restaurants and bars. The rooms are very nice decorated, comfortable and clean and you really won't miss anything....

I loved the old style house with typical high ceilings, our room was spacious and very comfortable. Anne is a perfect hostess giving advice on what to visit around Cape Town. We liked the location because it is a quiet suburb, although very close to restaurants and we walked to the city center. Bit further from V&A, but we had...

We stayed only one night at Bruce and Anne’s guest home, but it left such a good impression, that my wife and I felt compelled to share our experiences. First of all, the Tamboerskloof neighborhood is the ideal location to stay while in Cape Town. It is a safe, quiet residential area near shops, dining and nightlife, set against the...

all matters easily solved: A/P pick-up, restaurant reservations and tips what to do. Service minded hosts, good location, friendly rooms and environment. We appreciated the interiors and the large room in particular.

The place was clean, safe and well run. I didn't worry about leaving valuables in the room while we ran around, the breakfast was great and it was the best internet access we had our whole trip. That there was no option for not having our room cleaned was the worst thing I could say about the place.

This was our first stay in Cape Town, having arrived from St Helena Island after a 5 day sail. The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable with high ceilings and a large bed. The bathroom has a huge shower and is in the "wet room" style which means you can splash to your heart's content. A shared veranda overlooks the...
