We enjoyed our stay at Underberghouse. The hosts were helpful and on hand to serve breakfast. The room was comfortable with a good modern bathroom. The location was great - on a quiet residential street, walking distance to restaurants and a short drive to the main attractions of Cape Town.

Handy location for Table Mountain and town centre (longer walk to V&A Waterfront). Very friendly helpful hosts. Very comfortable and clean. Street parking usually available. Would definitely use it again.

We had an Amazing stay at this beautiful guesthouse. Perfectly situated in a lovely suburb of Cape Town. Beautifully decorated and efficiently run by wonderful staff. I can highly recommend The Underberg and will most certainly stay there again. Bruce, Anne and all the Staff were fantastic and made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble for...

We have just returned from 2 lovely weeks in the Cape. We chose to stay at Underberg based on previous reviews. Good choice. Their guest house is immaculate, the furnishings are top quality, breakfasts are excellent and plentiful and the hosts and staff are the...

Beautiful, well-maintained historic house in a safe residential neighborhood in Cape Town. Hosts told us to feel at home, and we did. Public areas of the house (living room and bar) are very welcoming and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it will be our first choice for future visits to Cape Town.

My wife and son spent a week at Underberg in October 2016. Five of us had stayed there two years earlier and we had no hesitation in returning. Everything was just as good, the food, the rooms, the facilities and the staff but thanks are especially due for all the help and support Anne and Bruce provided when my wife's...

I was very pleased with my stay at Underberg House. Hosts Ann and Bruce do a very professional job in providing warm hospitality while keeping the house in an impeccably beautiful state. The house which was built 1860, has been impressively refurbished by Bruce. Rooms are clean and comfortable and stocked with nice toiletries. The common and living areas are...
