Very neat and clean rooms. Perfect for a safe and comfortable nights stay, close to all the great points of interest in Cape Town. Great off street parking. Room was great and clean. Had everything we needed for self catering.

We can only comment that it would have been better if each unit had its own satellite remote control. Other than that the unit had everything we needed, the host was lovely, the dogs also!! and the location perfect.

Hi We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Sadly, in order to give each unit their own DSTV, we would need to increase our prices and we prefer not to. We look forward to hosting you again. Regards Parsh More

An amazing stay. The location is amazing and the dogs make it feel safe and homely. Loved it! It is so close to Kloof street - one of Cape Town's most charming streets and just down the way from Long street - the other street charm of the Mother City.

We needed a place to stay for the evening and it was wonderful, we had privacy and it was clean and neat inside the room. I will be back for a longer stay as I did not get a chance to use the amenities. Thank you for the hospitality. Only negative is there was no wifi in the room as... More

Every thing at VIP Cape Lodge was excellent from the welcome chocolates to the clean, clean bathroom and bedroom. There was tea and coffee in the kitchen, the towels were soft and the bed extremely comfortable. I will most definitely stay there again and will recommend it.

Was lovely place, only issue was it was quite noisy - someone was talking on the phone right outside our door very loudly for a long time one morning. Location is good and it was nice to have secure parking

Negatives: we expected the Lodge to resemble a Swiss style establishment, but the outside was disappointing. Parking is very restricted. There was an old bathtub with dirty water in it next to the driveway. The so-called "pool view" amounted to having a very small and rather dirty pool across from our entrance. The "manager" did not communicate well and was... More

The location was great, only met the cleaner/caretaker and he was great. Could not get assistance with places to visit and bookings as promised on their brief or broucher. i believe they could do better with provision of minor amenities like tea and coffee. the television had on 1 station and the entertainment room looked like a work in progress... I just wanted a basic base camp close to Kloof Street. And Basic is exactly what we got. The place was poorly appointed and the towels were tiny, and were not changed in the 5 days we were there.
