A great host and a spotless guest house with lovely rooms. Burt did everything that he could to make sure that we had a wonderful stay, eg he ran us downtown to collect our rental car and even went out for croissantes for breakfast on our first morning and his staff even warmed them for us! 5* or what! Breakfast...

A superb stay, We had a lovely room which was super as a base for what we needed as we were out most the day touring. The house has an amazing view of Cape town and Green Point from the main lounge area. Burt is so lovely, a very friendly warm welcoming host and we ended up cancelling our last...

We had a lovely room which had everything one needs. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into the design of the room and there was great attention to detail. Lovely view of Table Bay and Green Point from the main lounge and deck - great spot for a nightcap! Burt was an extremely gracious host and was...

Incredibly welcoming arrival. Room was very comfortable and well equipped with books, a mini fridge, tea and coffee and wine and was spotlessly clean. The shower was very luxurious and welcome after a very long set of flights from the UK! Very peaceful and in a very safe area. There is a communal lounge and balcony with sea views and...

We had the most enjoyable stay. Burt could not do enough to make us comfortable. Free wine in your room, bed presto machines. Some rooms have ocean views and private balconies, some have two single beds. All the bathrooms are modern and clean. Loved our stay!!!

Staff were very friendly, room was beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfortable, and we were made to feel very welcome. Felt like a home from home. Thank you very much. Great location and complimentary bottle of wine went down a treat. Would definitely stay again.

A clean, homely and pleasant guesthouse that served its purpose perfectly. There is no breakfast at Anchor Bay, but that's exactly what we were after - no pressure to get up at a certain time etc. The proprietor, Burt is warm and helpful and very passionate about his neighbourhood. The Nespresso machine in room was added bonus and the biscuits...

Just checked in to this lovely guest house. We have a back room on the first floor with a large balcony and a view of Robben Island. Very high standard room, beautifully furnished and decorated. A quick bus ride into town. Walking distance to restaurants. Very helpful owners.
