Minutes away from the buzz of Kloof Street with all it's bars, cafés and restaurants, this is a basic but comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who are prepared to go the extra mile. Swimming pool, sundeck ( in need of an upgrade ), free WiFi, free parking - these are some of the welcome extras. At £50 for the...

4th time here and even better than the 1st! The great view of the Lion from the steps of Lady Hamilton sets you up for the day. Close to Kloof st for bars and cafes. Checkers supermarket, Jackal and Hide - great view of table mountain, Mixtas bar - locals bar cheap and a taste of Cape Town life, Slug...

Arrived here feeling travel-weary but instantly felt better. The staff were friendly, the room basic but spotless, the pool inviting and oh-the view!!! A brilliant situation and very helpful advice on where to go and how to get there. We had never visited South Africa before and our three night stay here was part of a much longer trip and...

Last year I reported an enjoyable stay in this hotel and believe I said I would stay again if in Cape Town. I have, and can endorse my views of 11 months ago. It is a 3 Star Hotel in a very convenient situation not far from all the major City attractions in the Gardens area. It has a swimming...

Stayed here for five nights prior to a G Adventure trip. The room was comfortable, and quite basic. It would be noisy if the hotel was busy, which it wasn't when I stayed there. The breakfast is very good - and included in the price. There is a nice pool area as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wifi works...

The staff was hospitable and very helpful. Rooms were neat and clean but could have been a little bigger. The breakfast being offered was very nice but WiFi is only available in rooms. The hotel is a little away from beach( takes around 90 Rand by cab) but is on walking distance from the Library road. The museum, green market...

We have stayed a few times at the Lady Hamilton and every time the service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good to start exploring the city. The rooms are good for the price you pay for the hotel. I am a happy guest and will definitely return when in Cape Town.

The hotel was part of a organized trip. We stayed there for three nights. Service was excellent, friendly staff. They served a very good mix of English and Continental style breakfast with a good selection fruit and juices. Being 1.90m (6'4") the size of the bed was not a problem. WiFi was only available in the lobby. However the hotel...
