Offering a rare combination of historic exteriors with classic modern bohemian interiors, it was ‘Victorianised’ in 1912 and declared a National Monument in 1984. Its charm and character is matched with its desirable location amongst the popular restaurants, street cafes and stylish boutique shops of Kloof Street, the heart of Cape Town.

We spent 3 nights in December, it's a nice boutique hotel, in a great location close to Kloof street and some nice restaurants. The staff is friendly, room is comfy, breakfast is good, not great, limited options but overall we had a very nice stay.

We spent 4 nights at the Cape Cadogan as part of our honeymoon, and it was a really beautiful hotel. We really appreciated the complimentary champagne too! The staff were all lovely, and very friendly. We didn't eat in the hotel during the evenings, but the breakfasts were of a

Our small group of 5 stayed here from December 17 to December 20. The staff could not have been nicer nor more accommodating. The hotel is in a convenient location to see the sites easily. I would definitely come back to Cape Cadogan.

In a city that’s full of hotels, this is THE hotel that will convince you to not stay on the touristic V&A site... Situated in a very funky part of town, where you can choose between trendy bars and eating establishments, to visiting Gardens, Table Mountain or afternoon tea at

I believe they started at 7:00 AM but they are so accommodating I am sure something could be worked out if this is not acceptable. This is a wonderful place to stay and very close to great restaurants. It is a little way from the wharf but they will give you a ride there if you want.

Hi! We stayed at Cape Cadogan in March. We DID hear music, but our room was on the second floor in the back corner of the building (Room 8) which has a balcony that opens up toward Kloof Street. It was surprisingly during the week and not on the weekend, and also the type of music I enjoy, so I wasn't really concerned! It also stopped at a relatively reasonable hour. The rooms in the carriage house (11, 12, 14) may be your best bet for assured quiet, but I didn't find the noise to be detrimental to our stay. ENJOY!

Hello. There is no gym on-site. The hotel can arrange a pass for a local gym with a good selection of workout options. There are also a few good jogging routes around the hotel and the guest relations team can advise on these.
