We stayed for 4 nights and had a good time. The location is excellent and the service is very good. Its not quite a 'fall in love' kinda place but its is very good at what it does. The solved our booking issue without any drama. Good value as well!

We booked this hotel from a recommendation of a friend. There is a lot to be said for staying here. But the staff needs a bit more training to match. They hotel lost my booking so we had to switch rooms halfway through. It was inconvenient. But we were happy and we'd return for sure.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cape Cadogan. The staff was very friendly and helpful with food recommendations, directions to local attractions and booking day trips (which we did twice). The room was very clean and the breakfast was tasty. The location was great and was only a few USD$ Uber ride to V&A Waterfront. Would recommend this spot...

We have now stayed here over the past 4 years . Twice in the More Quarters which are excellent apartments and all nicely decorated. The hotel is really nice with large well decorated rooms , all different , most with balconies . We have stayed in the Superior Suite which has its own garden and small pool. This time in...

very elegant hotel on a quiet street in a traditional house setting with beautiful rooms. Service was excellent and pro-active. Highly recommended boutique hotel in a nice location around the corner of Kloof Street that has plenty of nice bars.

The staff could not have been more warm and welcoming, helpful and friendly. Delicious and enormous breakfasts included in the room rate. Help with booking tours, making restaurant recommendations, and giving directions. The interior of the hotel and the central patio are stylish without being precious. All modern conveniences are provided. I would definitely visit again.

We had a very happy few days staying at the Cape Cadogan. It is a charming hotel with a really nice atmosphere in a great location. Everything you would expect from a very good "boutique" hotel. Our room was very attractive and comfortable as were the main reception areas, plus the outside area with the plunge pool etc. The main...

very welcoming, homely and extremely good quality in all respects. If there were to be a downside then the views are limited but it is in the city. Please make sure you have your own transport as it is a bit out of the way for access to the city highlights and facilities. The hotel does run a 3 times...

Owned by the More family, this is a colonial hotel near Klondike street. I did not care for the area but the staff was helpful esp Nadine and the breakfast in the courtyard was charming. Stay here if you are not prickly on location.

Stayed for two nights on a visit to South Africa. We have stayed at this property three times previously which we enjoyed but the room we were given was very small and dark. We did have a window in the room but we were unable to open the blind as we were a metre away from the breakfast area so...

“I rated the room as average only due to a poor wi-fi connection. The room was otherwise excellent! Wi-fi was important to us because we were so far from home and needed to be able to stay in touch. It may not be an issue for other travelers. ”
