We were in Cape Town for four nights in November, 2008 and stayed at Mountain Magic for two of the four. Looking back, I wish we had stayed for all four because the price cannot be beat. Our apartment was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. The view of the city from the balcony/room was breathtaking. Most of all, Phil's...

Worth going for the view from the bedroom alone! The rooms were clean and cleaned on weekdays. The journey into town via taxi took about 10 mins and only cost £4-5 a trip. The walk to local retaurants was also 10 mins (just about 15 mins back up the hills!). Phil was a great help to us, only issue I...

Cape Town marked the end of our month in S Africa and we had done masses of online research to find the best possible accommodation for our money. Using Trip Advisor we found Mountain Magic (http://www.capetownsuites.co.za/ ) by coincidence as our 1st choice was fully booked and they kindly highly recommended this as an alternative option. Just back from a 6 night stay at the Mountain Magic Garden Suites where 3 of us stayed in the fabulous City Loft Apartment. The location was great for the city centre, within easy distance of the restaurants of Long Street - so cheap taxi at night - and an easy 20 minute walk to the V&A waterfront (cheap taxi...

We stayed in The Mountain magic Suite and enjoyed Phils hospitality for just 4 nights. We wish we'd stayed longer. The view from the bedroom must be one of the best in Cape Town, and the location perfect for us.

Phil and Liz gave us a great welcome to Capetown. The apartments were homily, comfortable and had all we needed. Location was perfect - quiet cul de sac under Table Mountain and near everywhere. Phil was an excellent host and very informative. We would highly recommend Mountain Magic Suites for anyone who didn't want an hotel stay and more of...

A stressful working trip made easier - the self-catering apartment was quiet with great views over the city and the balcony proved the place to relax and unwind after a tough day at the office. Phil & Liz all too willing to oblige - thanks for the happy faces and for carrying my heavy suitcase!!

This is a cozy, comfortable and simple place overlooking the city and bay near to Table Mountain. Wonderful hospitality in a very pretty neighborhood, about a 30 minute walk to downtown and a great relationship with a local cab company.

We only had 3 days in Cape Town on our way to Namibia. We would highly recommend this place. Not only because of the amazing view from your bedroom on Table Mountain, the beautiful garden that surrounds the house, and super nice welcome we had, but above all the fact that it’s less than a ten-minute walk to all the...

Mountain Magic Garden Suites were a very good option for our family while visiting Cape Town. We took two suites for our family of four, but could definitely have stayed in one. It is in a residential part of the city situated near the road to take you to the Table Mountain cable way. Other than that site, it is...

The Mountain Magic Garden Suites are situated in a quiet residential area on a no-through road. Each suite is a large self-catering apartment and all have their own balcony or patio. We're very family friendly, as two suites have their own garden and all guests can use our large pool and the green field next door.
