This has to be the best accommodation in Cape Town. Beautiful rooms great location. Wonderful breakfast. We stayed for 8 nights and saw all the sights around the city. The manager Karin was superb and just made our stay. She helped us with anything we wanted to know and made dinner and tour bookings for us. This is THE place to stay in Cape Town. Five stars.

This hotel was our last in South Africa and a great place to end our tour. In many ways, this hotel resembles Derwent House, when it comes to vibe: it was charming and nicely decorated (even though there were some areas that could have benefitted with some 'de-cluttering') The swimming pool was more intimate than Derwent House's. The location is very different: in a residential area, close to beaches. The staff was indeed super friendly, so we felt very welcome directly after entering the hotel. The room the provided us (an upgrade, how nice) was so comfortable and stylish, with two separate bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom, a sittingroom and dining table and quite a large kitchen. A balcony facing the ocean. Like Derwant House, we highly recommend this hotel!

This gueshous was amazing. Stayed in Capetown for several nights and was extremely happy with the accommodations. The service and staff at Blackheath Lodge made the stay exceptional! The staff were great and seemed happy to be there, which spoke volumes about the manager Karin. She was the most helpful and engaging manager I encountered during my two plus weeks in the country. All her recommendations were exceptional. She arranged outings that were perfect for our group. One of her recommendations was a highligt of my trip. Thank you Karin! I have to coming back with my family now.

Well, what can I say. This hotel is FABULOUS! The staff couldn’t do more to help with every aspect of our stay. Our room was perfect, comfy beds, beautifully decorated and well appointed. Pool area was spotless and sun beds comfy, surrounded by pretty flora and trees making a gorgeous setting, I will always stay here if I come to Cape Town. The recommendations made were excellent, we did 2 tours with Farid who was so, so knowledgeable, very courteous and we felt very safe and looked after exceptionally well. Wine Tour and Cape Touf are a definite must do. security outside when you arrive back, in the evening who escorted you into the hotel was a nice touch. Not that it seemed it was needed because we never saw anyone hanging about but it definitely made you feel very safe.

My cousin recommended this place and he is a regular world traveler. My friends and I stayed in the two-bedroom apartment which was really nice. The whole place was cute and there is a small pool in the courtyard and a lounge area at the bar. Lots of extra comforts like afternoon cake and evening port provided free of charge. It is located in a good area and just a few blocks away from the beach. The service here was excellent. All the staff were helpful and the manager Karin was amazing. She seemed present all the time and was extraordinarily personable, funny, informative, and helpful. She makes the place exceptional and I would return just to see her again.

Just left this lovely little hotel. From the moment we arrived we loved this place. Immaculate…beautiful and friendly. Lovely size room with big comfortable bed. Short Uber drive to the waterfront but parking available too. Morning breakfast was beautifully presented with lots of choice. Free afternoon coffee and cake available…the chocolate cake was delicious. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Cape Town and surrounding areas.

A Fabulous stay at Blackheath lodge. Gorgeous building and pool area but it’s the staff that make the place 5 star. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again should we arrive back in capetown. Thanks to all for a brilliant start to our trip.

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our vacation to South Africa. The hotel was brilliantly situated and was incredibly comfortable. All of the staff made us feel very welcome and supported us with our visit to Cape Town with advice and guidance. A special mention to Riano for his excellent hospitality and his lovely character. A brilliant hotel and one we would very much recommend to others.
