My friends and I came to Cape Town to do some personal travel after a study abroad program and chose to stay here for six nights. The accommodation is great! Hot showers every night and a clean bed to sleep in. I always felt safe in Zebra Crossing. Stacey and Katherine were also wonderful help in planning our excursions! Crummy...

Organised trip from the uk with our university. The hostel was good and cheap, and only a few minutes walk away from the town area. Very secure and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are wanting a cheap basic accommodation for a few days.

Dirty bed sheets....even after request for clean ones, still had stains, no atmosphere, one gets the impression someone owns and runs this begrudgingly.....sorry......no love here. Good hot showers though, generally clean besides bed linen. Good position and surrounded by strong competitors.

As soon as we walked through the door we felt as home. A very relaxed and laid back hostel. The dorms were super quiet and comfortable. The hostel is really close to Kloof Street and it is possible to walk to V&A. There is a choice of parking in the hostel carpark (Non secure & hard to get out of)...

We had a short but nice stay at the backpackers. The rooms were clean, comfy and neat. We had a beer and coffee at the little café. The security was top notch and the staff are really friendly. My only suggestion is to get some frontline for the local cat.

After staying here for a while I can tell you that you won't find anywhere else where you get all the facilities for such a low cost. It's clean with an in-house bar and cafe as well as a self-catering kitchen, a fast internet connection, trustworthy staff and a laundry room. I know my belongings are safe when I go...

I spent about 5 months at zebra and for the most part had a good time, the dorms are a decent size and cleaned daily as are the bathrooms. the kitchen is a bit small but well equipped. there is an onsite café with decent food at a reasonable price run by the lovely Bronwyn who always has time for...

Regularly during my 7 night stay here whilst in Cape Town with friends I had to keep checking the price we had paid was correct. Surely a hostel this good could not be such good value! Well it was! the staff from day one were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the living rooms are very...

Hi Martin Thank you for taking the time to review Zebra Crossing. We are so delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate your feedback regarding the WIFI. Nice accommodation with cheap and clean rooms. Quite big, good quality wifi. However, the dorms aren't lockable and there are no safes. Especially when you have a laptop, expensive camera etc. This is necessary. Well equipped self catering kitchen.
